  • The spots were allocated based on which cities filled out the form (and the number of teams they could send, etc)..?

  • Tourney!

  • Eire is being included in the UK intentionally. I remember discussing this with Emmet a while back, maybe in Rouen.

What? Is Austria included in the German allocation?

  • I notice (the Republic of) Ireland is not on the list of places being allocated spots. Curious as to whether this is simply because they haven't been, or they are accidentally being included in the UK.

Republic of Ireland is IMA... (no data from them)

  • What? Is Austria included in the German allocation?

They forgot to fill their pre-reg sheet.... as well as some other countries. Some adjustments will be announced tomorrow for the late-comers.

  • Maybe we could ask Ale to allocate the spots to UK scenes/cities based on the data he received? Any other ideas anyone?

Isn't this the case anyway? The whole point of one rep from each city filling one out... I'd say its fair for London to have 4 of the 10, the other 6 divided between the other cities.

If this isn't the case, I'd suggest LDN has a quali, and the rest of the uk have a separate quali for the other 6. I'm sure that the LDN teams that didn't make the top 4 would still qualify via the wild card.

These are all suggestions, it's ultimately Ale & co's decision and no one should try and influence this.

    Ha!

  • Ale, set the record straight dude. Do we have to fight amongst ourselves for the 10 spots or have you divided it city by city according to the forms you received?

I thought about allocating spots to London exclusively, to which our euro committee refused on the basis that england polo is now a formidable opponent to London's massive league.
It really is your call as to how you want to grant the spots.

  • Edinburgh
    Newcastle
    Birmingham
    Bristol
    London
    Manchester
    Cardiff
    Sheffield
    Brighton
    Oxford
    Cambridge

  • Ok, cool. At least we know. Cheers Ale.

So, what are peoples thoughts on the 6/4 split with 2 separate qualifying tourneys?

    Time waits for no chan!

  • Best chan pun ever ^

  • 4 spots for London would be the same as last year, sounds ok to me (we only submitted marginally more potential teams this year).

Unless anyone chimes in with a good idea, I reckon we try and keep this simple...

  • 5 qualifying tournaments in 5 different cities. Top 2 get spots in the Euros.

  • my favourite tag on this thread is 'greg is a poet'.

I spluttered tea when I spotted it.

I'd love this, good luck finding 5 tournament organisers though.

1 spot goes to LBPL winners. That leaves 3 spots. The simplest way is dice.

  • So, what are peoples thoughts on the 6/4 split with 2 separate qualifying tourneys?

    Sounds fair.

I'll do one. but the location is a secret. to keep bullies away.
