  • Be strong.

Don't you worry, I'm not moving an inch.

I'd like in on this, surely 10 is a nice round number to cap no?

FFS. Alright then, but you're the last one.

  • Okay, I'll be there.

  • I'll bring Brett too, of course.

  • Wicked. You can lead.

  • I wish I could go back in time.

  • Wicked. You can lead.

Nah, don't do hills anymore, except needing to train myself to be able to turn a big gear up shallow grades at ~25mph without going into the red.

  • I wish I could go back in time.

But you can, simply by clicking the link. Very evocative.

  • Why the cap...

    1. Traffic, as well you know.

    2. Don't consider asking to join as being a bit cheeky, consider not asking to join as doing a massive favour to someone who is easily overwhelmed by human contact.

I wish I could go back in time.

Funny, I've always fancied claws like Wolverine.

  • I thought you were riding bikes, not touching each other?

  • looks like my 'putting the foot down' post was a few too early.

  • I thought you were riding bikes, not touching each other?

    Both is the better.

  • quietly exits thread

  • ok shhh... to be continued

  • I imagine capping the ride will stop people running red lights to dodge the police....

  • i was just being silly, Kingscross it is, i'm worried i will die, will practice the ride before hand.

  • Don't worry, s'dead short. About 1:40, give or take.

Out of interest, Cranleigh Gardens has had a few mentions, is it worth tucking in? I was just going to rattle around a route that I've done countless times, but mebe I've been missing a trick.

I thought you were riding bikes, not touching each other?

    Analist.

  • Where is it? (Cranleigh)
If you think we can fit it in, then yes!

  • Ah. What I thought was this, is probably this. In which case, I know it.

  • I like Cranley Gardens, it's slow and gradual. Best capped by turning right and heading up to Muswell Hill Broadway at the end, which is a bit steeper.

  • Slow and gradual?

I only ever used it for power training. Seated in 39/15 @ ~18mph till the left hand bend, then 53/15 out the saddle, and try to hold >15mph to the top. Then loop around to the left, down Archway Rd/Shepherds Hill/along Park Rd, and repeat. A few times.

    Fucking brutal.

  • I'll bring Brent too, of course.

    He'll like being called that.

  • Holy fuck, what have I done. Don't know what came over me. Senior moment. I've been having a lot of those lately :/

  • It's one of his (many) nicknames.
