this been going through my head all day, especially since the tribute at the stage, such a touching thing. Really great to see such respect payed by his fellow riders in the giro, and all the words written online about it.

Don't know what to say really, just thought I'd vent

I found it a bit painful to watch. The Close ups of Farrar made for uncomfortable viewing for me.... Not sure what I think about the whole thing, to be honest.

Farrar has been in the past a figure of fun for my girlfriend and me, due to his transitions lenses advert. Both of us started blubbing after the first close up on his face.

Thoughts are with Wouter's family and with Tyler, very moving scenes today.The teams and the Giro organisers got it spot on.

Leopard Trek are withdrawing... just been announced on Twitter. And their facebook page.

Very sad to hear about the crash, truly tragic. Find this rather fitting.

i like the bit that says, at about 40kms from the end there ar two sections which will be only dirt road. Risky..

i don't know this part of tuscany, but i have visited lucca, pisa, firenze, san gimignamo, siena. i am however a huge fan of all italian wine.

my uncle 'pepino' from apuglia makes his own and it's superb, as is the homemade limoncello :)
