I'm assuming that Leopard will ride over the line at the front in the sameway as Motorola did back in 1995. If that's the case I really hope that they let Farrar join them.

I believe the intention is for Leopard to ride the final KM.
Agree with you on Farrar, it would likely mean an awful lot to him. -

Yes they've just said on the commentary that leopard will move to cross the line at the end today. Didn't realise that farrar was walter's best mate and they lived near each other.
Terribly sad -

Less than 25kms to go and it seems this just got cut? Was hoping to see the final procession.
Edit - both streams now say "off air"

Thank you, fromsport was the one I was following before. New link works perfectly.

The fromsport is a host site, it's got more than one link to watch Eurosport if you want to stick with English commentary.
Click Cycling on the menu and there's a list of links. -

Just watched the final kilometre. Very moving. A wonderful tribute.

Asking Farrar to join them was a classy touch, and a fitting tribute to their fallen colleague.

They did that just right, I am in awe of how difficult today must have been.

I found it a bit painful to watch. The Close ups of Farrar made for uncomfortable viewing for me.... Not sure what I think about the whole thing, to be honest.

Definitely uncomfortable viewing, but a fitting memorial.
Personally, I liked the suggestion discussed by the commentators of permanently retiring the race number.
Very sad.

I don't like the concept of retiring numbers, it's all too American schmaltz for me.
A physical memorial is a far more fitting tribute, as they have for Tom Simpson and Fabio Casartelli.

Sastre managed to crash on a neutralised stage?? Dude's cursed.

So tragic, and a real reminder of the realities of riding the great tours and the dedication, skill and bravery that the riders display.
RIP WW
