So Bertie has decided to race the Vuelta after all?

    lolz

  • you are such a hero Will. You do have a habit though of making this kind of statement the foundation of every debate you enter and it kind of suggest s that everyone who disagrees with you doesn't care. It's an interesting approach.

    Well.
I wasn't meaning me, or anyone else, on an internet forum. I mean riders, Directeur Sportifs, sponsors and journalists. What happens on boards like this is somewhat different but I suppose it mirrors it in a way; there are always people saying we do the sport a disservice, or disrespect the riders' achievements, if we talk too much about doping. But the omerta in the sport and the willing disbelief and acquiescence of fans is what allowed the situation to continue for so long.
Everything that the sceptical suspected during the nineties (and after) has turned out to be true. Everything the 'real lovers of cycling', as they often style themselves in opposition, wanted us to believe, all the wait-until-it-is-proven, has turned out to be of great help to the cheaters.

  • This thread needs input from David Millar. He's the real hero of anti-doping...

P.S. - Why can no fucker on this forum spell losing? WTF is loosing?

  • loosening?

I'm not in this category mate, not by a long way.

I'd be interested to hear about how cheaters could/should be caught because the authorities sure seem to make a hell of a mess of it, even if people have to pee/give blood 2 to 3 times a day, or have to wait over a year for the verdict
