yeah i think so. co they was fick were'nt they.

I think gorillas might be quite smart? I've seen one in a tie before.

  • I respect you hugely, Sir Scramble, but this time I believe you are wrong.

If people drive badly, risk lives, put others in danger, the fact should be brought to them in any way possible. If some fucker is so arrogant as to almost kill someone, and then punch that person in the stomach for having the audacity to complain, then that driver deserves a whole world of hurt.

Being passive is sometimes the answer but not always the answer. We should stand up for ourselves, even if by doing so we put ourselves in further danger. I am not advocating violence, only powerful verbal protest and self defense. If we do not complain, if we do not stand up for The Cyclist, then those cyclists with less confidence will get trampled on too, and perhaps chuck their bikes in a skip, buy a car, and never let there kids out on two wheels because 'it's too dangerous out there'.

I'm as mad as Hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.

How about adding "If people ride badly, risk lives, put themselves and others in danger, the fact should be brought to them in any way possible."

Let's get our own house in order at the same time as sticking it to the drivers eh?

  • Oh, I see, an affectionate and endearing term for those less intelligent or fortunate than oneself, like "window licker" or "fly catcher". How pleasant.

It refer's to massive 'roided up beefcakes...not anyone with disabilities, be they physical or mental.

  • Why would someone's knuckles drag along the ground as a side effect of taking steroids? Surely it alludes to someone whose arms are longer than usual. This is not a result of taking any form of drug so far as I am aware. It is a physical condition.

The two things are being confused by earlier posters. Knucle Dragger = Neanderthal (or earlier) types:

Nowt to do with taking steroids.

roided beefcake - was that the meal that got contador into trouble?

Maybe all of the deadlifts they were doing...stretches the arms and compressess the spine ;-)

It's a figure of speech...they look like big, oafing apes and act like apes to boot. Generally seen in mugshots and guarding the door to a bar/club.

  • A knuckle-dragger implies one of simple, base instincts. Gorillas wouldn’t settle an argument with charm and humour – they’d batter the shit out of each other. Same applies for a basic person, who talks with his fists.

    A thug.

  • Jesus, this thread has gone apeshit.

I know cliveo plays with his arse a lot, but i never knew he was a doorman?

  • My arse has been off-games for quite a while now.

  • Mmm beefcake. Beefy cake.

    nom nom nom.

  • lol, WAC , RTOFL e.t.c.

  • I was clipped by a bloke in a blue van today as he tried to pass me recklessly around Aldgate. My superior cycle control enabled me to remain fashionably upright and sprint him town to give him an eloquent what for through his open drivers side window. His reply? "Oh, sorry mate... didnt realise".

    End of altercation. Polite cunt.

  • ^i'm calling BS, balki. are you trying to tell me that being a civil adult/skilled cyclist avoided a situation that could have either put the driver in court, or you in hospital?

either bullshit, or i'm a 'retard'.

  • def BS.. Balki can't talk anymore

  • It was a massive letdown... I had my chest all puffed out and everything.

  • artist impression

  • Too much hair

    No BRM, you're a knuckle-dragger hth :)

  • Anyway if these burly builder types insist on eating so much beef-cake I'm not surprised they've got 'roids. James are you sure you didn't accidentally step on one protruding from his trouser leg and he lashed out in pain?

  • I was clipped today by a white van driver who turned left without indicating. Sick of it!

  • DJ if he punched you in the back then i dont see what threat you were to him and therefore he aint got nuffin on you and even if it was the stomach your witnesses and testimony will show he cant use a pre-emptive defense. Cops are always lookin for the easy way out. Ok bit harsh but they smell a griefy job and try to put you under pressure so they dont have to follow through on a job that could get demanding but then you said they weren't the cops who would follow it up so maybe they were being realistic - personally I think those odds (80-85%) are pretty damn good and I would take that bet.
I got knocked down by a left turner who made off, the cops are prosecuting (I also have a good witness) and we go to court in the next three months. I won't say any more sub-justice and all that but the charges are due care and attention (not crime of the century) and failing to stop at the scene of an accident, which is a little more serious.
DJ - you decide but try to get some actual legal advice first.

Knuckle Draggers - They need all the help they can get.
