that was based on two opinions above, where the buyers were recommended a bigger frame.
I see.
Odd - it recommended smaller for me.
I chose to boost the stem from 80mm to 90mm BTW

I guess the consensus re their fit quality remains unchanged:)

Mine also recommended smaller, although that suits me as I can get the front end low. But its odd, as I'm a 56 on everything else I've ever ridden.
The ritchey seatpost was at the minimum insertion length, and I toyed with a 120mm stem. Ideally would have had a 110mm, and have a 3T inline seatpost which is longer -

How good can an online calculator be?
Still, I spoke to Canyon UK and they suggested a 54.

I have two Canyon's and went for the size up from what was recommended online and they fit fine.

Forgot to mention Shannonball, thanks for the ride last Friday. Had great fun. Coming from Wales though, Box 'Hill' isn't really a hill is it. ;-).
With regards getting enough drop on a Canyon, you can order a 'normal' headset and a thin 3-4mm topcap should you wish which negates the need for the Acros set up which is a tad tall for my liking.
There's some chat about it here
http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=91158&p=785390&hilit=canyon+smolik+wedge#p785390I can dig out the necessary part numbers and take photos etc if someone needs them.

If you ladies have any better ideas for carrying up to 12hrs worth of food and drink, I'm all ears. If not, I expect you to be waiting with handups at regular 100mi intervals for the rest of the year.

I'm very very tempted on a Canyon Ultimate CF, would love the SLX version but my 'frame' budget doesn't stretch this far... Hmmm

^^ Ultimate AL Di2 is under £2k; i have to agree that it was much better value last year when Ultegra Di2 was close to £1500 but now with the groupset at £1k .. not sure.
that was based on two opinions above, where the buyers were recommended a bigger frame.
