Have you thought about fitting a longer reach handlebar?

Fitting a longer reach frame would save you having to re-wrap the bars.

Wiring Di2 is so much easier than re-wrapping those delicate Fizik tapes.

@HoKe Zipp Service Course SL-88 allow you to increase the reach and reduced the stack a bit, if you look around you probably can find longer and lower.

Thanks ed, I'm waiting on what canyon has to say first to check about they're zero stack headset and stem, but do you think I could get away with -10 at 140mm stem stead to improve the stack instead of a -17 130mm?

Have you tried the "live chat" bit on canyon? I've been using it recently to get to the bottom of the delay in my order and it has been excellent. Answers straight away. Although still waiting until September :(

Zero headset stack is on it's way, unfortunately they don't sell anymore -17 stem, therefore I will probably use a -10 stem instead. Hopefully the lowering stack from 18mm to 0, plus having a -10 130m/140mm instead of -6 120mm.

Good stuff, the stack on the canyon headset caps is massive. Good to know they do zero versions. Which -10 stem you getting?

Is it still using the acros system?
If so you could probably loose a few more mm using a tstr bearing cover and a normal topcap

Yeah, I totally forgot to ask them for the zero stack headset when I got the replacement frameset. But I emailed them and they're sending me one probably by next week :)

Let me know when it arrives, and if it still has the adjuster below the stem

If it's the same cover as the one on my AL SLX (pg.38) it won't have the adjuster. Just a standard cover, like Tester's (but stupid Canyon diameter).

Anyone have a small/52cm Aeroad and would be will for me to do a short test ride? I work in N7 and live in N12.

Can somebody with an aeroad slx kindly measure the bottom bracket outer diameter for me please? Power2max are telling me there will be a compatibility issue with my PM if the bb diameter is more than 57mm, which they suspect is the case
