Can't believe I'm going to spend 3k on a fucking bicycle

You have to publish the results of the FTP test before hitting the buy button.

Once I hook up the Aeroad to the turbo the numbers will happen I'm sure.

Thats fuck all.
I've put at least 12000 km on my Felt since buying it (well the frameset) 18 months ago. That would be 25p a km. Plus even though I've virtually killed the frameset. The Wheels have a fair bit of life left, and the finishing kit plus groupset has loads. So I'll easily push that under 20p per km.
Buy the NeXT one up the hierarchy
........./buyers Logic.

I actually kill my bikes by trying to fix them. So they are actually safer when I'm riding them. Which kinda throws that Logic out....

Such buyers logic. I love it. Not sure on the validity though, my current fleet is more than enough to handle my annual mileage. I just want this for no logical reason other than I like bikes and fuck it.

I had one of those moments this week, started with new bar tape, ended up with new saddle, seatpost, stem and two rapha jerseys for good measure. No regrets especially after riding today with the new bling. I'm sure you won't regret the aeroroad, personally I love the Katusha Di2 red model, much nicer than the black!,

Get. The. Fuck. Out.

Anyone knows where you can get a -17 1 1/4 stem? preferably 130mm
-
• #1362
giant concept store
-
• #1364
A few people on this thread talking about it.
http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13062299If you do get this one, be mindful about the way the length is measured.

Do you think they will also sell the zero headeset by off chance?
-
• #1366
I was debating this last night and maybe thinking getting a less extreme pro vibe -10 to be the safe side instead of length, but I'll lose the degree and stack height. :/
-
• #1367
Not sure dude. If the bike fit has a set position and you know the angle and length you need I'd do your best to match it.
This is quite useful btw

Anything else you can use to test the position? (I.e. another bike?)
What stack/reach do you need to replicate? -

This tool is also great, I use it as part of my biennial bike replacement addiction to make sure I get the same set up.

After the bike fit, I've come to a conclusion that I'm awkward shape!
If I go down a size with the canyon from a s to a xs, I'll need probably a need a 150mm stem...
-
• #1371
Not awkward, pro.
Sounds like you need a longer lower geo. Your only option is to upgrade to the Aeroad ;)

Asking whether to buy a bike or not on a bike forum, love it. Its all about getting your justification validated by other people isn't it?

Trigger pulled. Bike ordered. Was showing as "in stock", then my invoice came through that says estimated date as mid September. Looks like I've joined the long waiting list Canyon gang.
In that case just pull the trigger.
Canyon only ever knock 5% off anyway I guess.
