although good and solid, it all depends on definition of 'full', and condition of the rx100 gruppo
8 speed ultegras, again condition? (estimate £50 mint down to £12 working, not nearly as desirable as s/h campag)

Thanks for replying. I have front and rear derailleur, cranks, brakes, and some mavic cxp22 (iirc) and rx100 hubbed wheels. I would say that the rest of the group was in good condition.
thought the ultegra sti's would be worth more than that (well about the upper price), will have to rethink some plans.

Hello.
I recently bought a bike to make it my FG/SS. It's a Villiger Starling (no clue on history of brand or make).
Pretty much all that came attached (except for headset and fork+frame ofc) is to sell to make up a bit of the investment and to spend on parts I'll need for the project. It came as a component salad.

Here you can see what my research has turn up so far as for info on the components themselves:

That was the detail I mentioned above for the brake calipers.

Got some wheels I plan to sell but unsure of a price.
White Industries track hubs laced 36h to silver CXP33's. Only the front rim has seen a brake and there is a little bit of roughness in the rear bearings which, in honesty, should be replaced.
Had them built up through Hubjub (Paul Hewitt?) a couple of years ago and have always been on my best bike.
Will include a 16T, 17T and 18T cog all in excellent condition.
They have 25c Schwalbe Durano Plus tyres on at the minute which I could be tempted to leave on.
Any ideas?

I've a near new (no dings, marks scratches or anything really) Columbus SLX (or TSX) track frame/fork, Francis Quillon (Cyfac) built for the early 90s Maxi Sports/Castorama team.. so basically just like this frame. So no frills, chrome or that sort of thing, but a builder of good repute for a customer equally so and a lovely paint job. Nothing awkward about it - BSA threading, 27.2 seatpost. Any idea what something like this might be worth?
-
• #938
How much is this worth? It has a small crease from a previous crash which I hadn't noticed.
Thanks very much. J -
• #939
that's a nice gilco crimped frame, regardless of damage. If you get the dent fixed by an approved colnago specialist, plus paint and chrome, that could be a 500 plus proposition; let's have a look at this dent though

Theres a photo of the dent in the flickr

Got an 1973 Mondia Special frameset I consider selling.
Swiss made, 531 metric tubing with (i suppose)nervex lugs,
condition definitely not mint, has got several paint chips and
one broken top tube cable guide. Will sell with nuovo record seatpost,
french thread headset, sugino (swiss or french, not sure yet) bb, pivo
french stem .
What would the ballpark be? Don't have any pictures at the moment,
but will make me some tomorrow. -

I am looking at a Chesini Presicion bike from the late 70's i guess, don't know exact year but the bike have Columbus SL tubing and Campagnolo NR group all over, everything original.
There is no rust on frame at all, it's in mint condition.
I have no idea exactly what it can be worth.
How much can a bike like this be worth in the market today?
Please see attached pic.

This is the quickest I've seen this tread move in a long time. I've emailed Colnago to find out about a repair. Does anyone know an approved Colnago specialist who could have a go at the repair?

Can the gilco style tubing even be repaired.
You might have to sell it as is and take a hit on what it would have been worth otherwise......it's nice though, and someone will buy it if the price is right. I hate to say it, but eBay might be your best bet......things tend to find their true value there.
-
• #948
Gonna sell that Pacer soon, anyone on here want it or should I head straight to ebay?
-
• #949
I had sold it, the buyer then took it to a bike shop and they pointed out a crease which neither of us had seen. I've still not seen it but according to buyer its visable when you've had it pointed out to you.
Buyer now not happy with it so asked for a refund. So I gave option of a refund or discount on origonal price.
So what I'm really after is an opinion is on the price as shown. So that we can work out what the value is. Ie should further discount be given for damage not previously noted or if it was at a low price for origonal description therfore acurate for added damage.

Why don't you ask him him how much he wants to pay? If its not what you are happy with, refund him and sell it again with the damage described.......it is what it is......
I might be looking to get rid of an full rx100 groupset with a broken righthand shifter, also a set of working 8 speed ultegra shifters. How much would be fair for each of these?
