That is a nice titanium frame, sandy. for an estimate, take the price of a current artisan titanium frame and say it's a third of that

welcome :o)
As to the Ti speedwell, it might be more valuable than you think.....There are people who value those highly. Do a search on retrobike......

Hi there
I am selling my friends road bike for him as he is out of the country. I am not really a road bike type so I am not sure what I should be asking.
Trek Alpha 2.3 with a shitload of upgrades.
Thomson stem
Thomson Elite seatpost
Shimano Ultrega crankset (double ring)
Shimano Dura-ace Flight deck shifters/levers
10spd rear cassette 11-12-13-14-15-17-19-21-23-26
Mavic Open-Pro rims on Shimano 105 hubs
Shimano 105 brake calipers
Shimano 105 front mech
Shimano Ultegra rear mech
FSA headset
SRAM chainThe saddle is not so hot and the tyres are some freebies he got, he used to work for a bike shop. I would imagine they would be the first things to swap out anyway.
All help appreciated.
Will hope to get some photos sorted soon,

Attached are the Freddie Grubb bicycle frame pics; afraid they're not the best shots!
I stripped the bike down to the frame as all the parts, including wheels were not original.
From the research I did, I believe it's a Freddie Grubb Silver Star 23" frame from the 1950s, the original paintwork most probably being a medium blue, hidden underneath the garish red paint job.
The BSA frame was hand built in London SE20, is steel with continental lugs. The serial number is 6109 M.I hope the images and info help to gain some useful feedback with regards to pricing.
She was thinking of selling it on eBay, but I thought I'd ask here first, also, anywhere else worth posting it?

Hi
I'm thinking of cashing in my fixie to help fund a winter training bike. For convenience I would rather sell as a complete bike. Anyone want to speculate on a realistic price. Specced as follows:Original Basso frame
Brown suede Selle Regal saddle
Campag Record Aero Seat post
Cinelli Stem
Nitto bullhorn bars
Brick lane bikes front brake
Campag record cranks
Shimano front brake caliper and headset.

No.

• #972
then what would be realistic? :)

• #973
I could get a brand new carbon Guerciotti for £600, or an aluminium one for £300 so why on earth would I want to spend anything more than £10 for thirty year old frame technology?

Are they Airlite hubs?
If so do they have any value.

Good advice stedlocks
Colnago collectors often value the finish above ride quality, so fixing the dent and then refinishing could be costly vis likely return.
