Specialized AWOL is a much better value with same rack and disc.

Yeah seems to be a lot more better options out there. Salsa vaya. Also the Kaffenback has better components for nearly half the price and looks quite similar.

I only have one bag though, only ever intended to use for commuting, and wasn't expecting such a haul from Wilkinson's... Beat the hell out of lugging a 20kg back pack home.

What's wrong with belt drives? Not that I know much about them...

I love the tiny redundant saddle bag, as if there was absolutely no room left whatsoever to put it in the panniers, handlebar bag or rack bag.

Love the no-fuss about those panniers. Would love a smaller pair.

If that version of the AWOL was available for normal people to buy, I'd have got one in a heart beat. Is rad.
