Not that I've been able to find in the UK. Those ones are limited edition and I doubt Specialized would give one to folk who aren't in the industry/rich.

If anything they're more likely to sell you a £3k bike sent from the the US. You're not buying a Allez.
-

I've been badgering my Specialized dealing LBS about that model. Reckons there is no way to get one officially in the UK. Have to buy on online form the US and import it yourself. Not impressed. I want one.

Rawland Drakkar;
(probably there is going to be a second version on the market.)
https://groups.google.com/group/rcog/attach/935f57de5a47b7ab/IMG_0527.JPG?part=5&view=1yes, mine is the same. I actually thought that was the new(of 2010) version.

I love the tiny redundant saddle bag, as if there was absolutely no room left whatsoever to put it in the panniers, handlebar bag or rack bag.
It makes sense. Why bother digging through your other bags to get tools / spare tube / etc when you can just get them from the saddle bag?
-
• #5658
amazing, except the belt.
Whats this front rack? Does it combine porteur & low rider functions or am I imagining it?
-
• #5659
I believe that's two separate; a low rider with light mount and a smaller decaleurish thing.
-
• #5660
dron's right, the low rider is a Tubus (as well as the rear rack), the rando rack is probably custom AFAIK and not part of the build.

yes, mine is the same. I actually thought that was the new(of 2010) version.
http://www.rawlandcycles.com/_uls/section/Drakkar.pdfSpecification look great, I thought you said it have a low trail geometry (advertised 50mm raked fork instead of 60).
-
• #5662
If it has 50 RAKE instead of 60 RAKE, it will have about 10.5mm MORE TRAIL.
-
• #5663
I should go get my morning coffee.
-
• #5664
Yes you should, cause you done fucked up big time playa.
-
• #5665
Wasn't SHOUTING at you, was trying to reinforce the message.
Less (forward) rake => more (backwards) trail
-
• #5666
Ah, I meant the other way round - Rawland have 50mm rake according to spec, updated original comment.

That is a very lovely bell.
What's the advantage of a rim dynamo? Lighter and post-mountable, unlike a hub? Surely it will have more friction though?
-
• #5669
It can be disengaged or removed easily - unlike a hub.
Drags only when in use - presumably a hub dynamo will offer some drag all the time?
-
• #5670
They don't, only when you turn on the light.
Unless you have dynamo on a hill climbing bike where you switch it on and off regularly, it's almost impossible to notice.

Purely theoretical: my only experience is with a late 50s Sturmey Archer Dynohub.

The world clearly has moved on.
To me, 'missing the kickstarter' prompts painful memories of bruised shins and failure to judge which side of TDC.

standard fork geometry. they offer to re-rake your forks though. or sell you some new ones, I think. If you want to jump that wagon.
I believe mine is standard (haven't checked, bought used) -
