Just throwing ideas around in my head - but is it possible to have a front dynohub that's also got a disc brake?
I'm toying with the idea of building up a winter bike - and like the idea of disc's + dyno to make it easy to maintain even more so if it's SS/fixed which it probably will be.

Yes:

Claims to be suitable for both on and off road, but surely the beam is more suitable to one or the other.

Not exactly fitting the theme of the thread is it?

^ funny that the version posted is the one that made it into the thread.
While the last version in the CP thread is a better fit here:

is it just me or dose that have 26" rear, 24" front? (sounds like a good idea actually)

No, it got 650b rear, and 20" front.

Is there any particular benefit? Why do this?

would assume storage in a small apartment or taking on the train

So you can climb hill better with a smaller front wheel and rear having the larger rotational mass while keeping the front end nice and twitchy for the descent.
a reverse 69ers if you like.

Very popular in MTB Hillclimb races.

I'd probably go for a SON hubs, less drag and all that.
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/schmidt-son-delux-dynamo-front-hub-silver-prod22502/
Having said that, even on a Shimano, drag aren't noticeable when riding (but more apparent when you spin the wheels as if the pads is touching the rims).
Or wait for the Exposure one;

Given the amount of shit ed usually comes out with its hardly surprising I didn't know he was joking.
I have no ulterior motive to writing the way I do, merely struggle with the basic of English.
