  • I'm not a practised stalker, but all his 'friends' have the same 'friends'.

Is that what a social circle is?
Though, with his current trend isnt it more likely they are all him and hes trying to bolster his friendship circle?

  • People like this destroy the goodwill that is so epic on this forum.

I'd say the goodwill which is found in the cycling community as a whole. I've posted freecycle stuff internationaly, out of my own pocket, on several occasions. I'd like to say it was my own idea as a 'great guy'. But it is'nt.

One of the first parts of my fixed build was a lovely NOS campag insulated water bottle and cage, I found on a small US web site. After some discussion about payment, the guy just sent it to me for free. Apparantly he has Norwegian relatives, so may come over, allowing me to square things up. But that was years ago. That sort of generousity, directed towards a perfect stranger, can really have an effect on a pessimistic c*nt like myself.

Those that can, should absolutely make a profit from the cycling community. But not at the expense of this precious 'goodwill'. Never.

  • Sorry for the soppy post ;)

  • Speaking of loose wiring - I bought a light of a trader that now has a loose connection.

I'm going to go round his place and make him eat dry cornflakes.

    • In case that particular trader is reading this post - It's really a problem - I just need to wiggle it a little, and stop letting the cat try to kill it. I meant it about the cornflakes though.

pfffft rich tea biscuits and anerobic exercise.

As in, smash half packet into the victims mouth, then chase them with a D-lock, untill they vomit said rich teas out of their nose.

I think the CIA use that one.

  • Sing along now

    Poor old Jonnyrau
Sounded sad upon the forum, he moved a million parts in cognito
Our mothers cried and rode along and who'd blame them.
Now you're grown, so grown, now I must say more than ever.
    Go Toora Loora Toora Loo-Rye-Aye
and we can ride with free parts just like our fathers.

  • wtf am i missing something cultural here?

  • The best thing, for me, to come out of this whole sorry tale is that PJ managed to get involved and deliver some classic verbal vengeance against the little shitstain.

For those of you with shorter teeth, PJ is a venerable and much missed LFGSS member who fucked off to Bristol a while back. Glad to see that he is doing well.

  • I prefer the version from Van Morrison with The Band.

  • I don't understand why HillaryStone is being mentioned in a thread titled 'Bad traders'.
Bought a frame off him last year and frankly it was a bargain and arrived on time and in good nick.

  • already covered that
