The best thing, for me, to come out of this whole sorry tale is that PJ managed to get involved and deliver some classic verbal vengeance against the little shitstain.
For those of you with shorter teeth, PJ is a venerable and much missed LFGSS member who fucked off to Bristol a while back. Glad to see that he is doing well.
me too, it was nice to see his rapier wit in action again, I miss the grumpy bastard.

This is more entertaining than the memes thread!
Can't his IP address be banned? At least he can't use his 'Cyclotron' alias any more.

don't say stuff that; I'm trying to distance myself from the guy. I'm quite proud of my alias, and I don't want to have to change it because everyone assumes I'm the same guy.

you need to ban the ip or ip's if he is using several
Once we have the IP we can call Cyber Police.

It is not that simple.
Most connections by the ISP are assigned via DHCP. The IP address is refreshed at varying intervals by the ISP.
It is possible to ask the ISP for a list of IP addresses but that would accomplish nothing. You can't ban whole blocks of IP addresses as such practice would only affect other users entirely disconnected from the issue. If the person is using a static address, though much rarer, then it is possible to blacklist it. But this is still not a very popular idea as addresses can get reassigned and reused which could unnecessarily afflict other potential users.
This is how the Internet works.
I understand the fellow might be looking for a relationship. I'm afraid to say, folks here have given him a relationship, 16 pages worth of one. Just ignore and move on.

That's why you call CyberPolice. They know what to do. All is back traced.

Speaking of loose wiring - I bought a light of a trader that now has a loose connection.
I'm going to go round his place and make him eat dry cornflakes.
- In case that particular trader is reading this post - It's really a problem - I just need to wiggle it a little, and stop letting the cat try to kill it. I meant it about the cornflakes though.
Ive had a look and cant find the receipt dude... I'll buy it back from you and take it uo with Evans myself. Shouldnt be a prob as Im sure Ive got a transaction on a credit card statement somewhere.
I prefer Frosties, BTW.
