Are we riding the inner as well?
And whats the distance on the route?
-
• #703
1 hour @ 20 m.p.h.
What do you think it will be?
-
• #704
We would be, if it was smooth. Just outer circle, 2.75ish miles a lap. 8 laps, 22 miles, 1 hour. Ish.
(goal for summer, 9 laps/hour) -

Christ, I definitely need to put a bit more effort into my new bike!
I'm currently considering completing this evening's circles carrying a box of M&S tuna salad.
Clarification:
My new bike will be fixed.
The salad is intended for someone who was jealous of a box I ate the other day. I will be meeting them after the circles.
I am now going to stop writing.

Can salad survive such velocities unscathed?
-
• #711
Tuna (in alive form) can swim at about 25 mph.
-
• #712
but in salad form? Will it be doing its time on the front?

Don't ever doubt the peleton powers of a lettuce.

Rolling on 85" fixed - fastest ever commute to work today (usually on 69" commuting).
Mainly because
a) had beer last night
b) broke chainwhip
c) putting a bigger sprocket on the back involves changing the chain
Sun's out anyway :)

Who are the pain brothers?
Tom and RebeccaBlack26th I reckon.

I might draft you all for a lap. Not sure if the Surly, complete with mud guards can do north of 20mph anyway.
At least no child seat on the back today.

I've got a bottle of lucozade sport and a chocolate flapjack on my desk. What would be the best time to consume these for maximum benefit?
Am I taking this too srsly?

About an hour before, maybe slightly more.
Just rode up to Muswell Hill for the dentists. It's proper windy out there. Southerly wind against me all the way, really struggled. Might have to see at this rate, feel like TNRC caught up with me today.
On the plus side, I may set a new land speed record coming back down Archway Road :)

Wind isn't a problem!

Wind isn't a problem!
Uncanny...
No my legs/general sleepiness is the main issue. And I'm running out of time to wake up now :(
Might try coffee.

Possibly a last minute "Out", due to a bunch of last minute nonsense at work.
"Hoorah" if not. "Bollocks" if so.
Love the association with Rebecca Black, we share the same cheerful outlook and zest for life.

I'm not sure what's going on with me and work either, could go either way. But there's still plenty of time for me to get up there. Destroyed a £1 bag of maynards sports mix - feel a combination of juiced up and very sick.
Wish they'd re-done the inner circle instead. I never found the redone bit that bad.
