  • Probably not in after all. I had a bit of a tumble at track league tonight and I expect to feel a bit sore tomorrow. Might be ok...

  • dam heal up soon - this is an excuse for ghost riding regent park I will allow.

  • Ouch. How you feeling today.

    28*C heat today. Oh dear.

  • Can we join the thursday ride?

  • Can they join us?

  • what day is it? where am I? who are you again? who are any of you? what are you doing on my lawn? get off, the lot of you.

  • I might do some laps this evening

  • When are you going to make an appearance again Tom? HoP members have been running around like headless chickens without its creator.

  • I was pretty close to heading out tonight, but I'm working from home and it's a bit of a paint to head in to town, plus more work keeps cropping up, and I need to nip to the supermarket for things for tomorrow so no time. I prioritise staying in and eating over riding these days.

  • Had a couple of x-rays. No breaks but I ain't going no where!

    Have a good one!

  • I'm in tonight. Try another before the season is over.

  • Good to hear you are intact FixedCheese. Rest up!

  • ^ Cheers Hamed!

  • Well that was a mess.

  • Finally met another another forumer doing the hour of power waiting at the gate *on time.

Maybe its my punctuality and my mistake of looking for fixed geared or single speed bikes that caused me to always miss you.

    Anyway nice to meet Hamed.

Was in a rush for a work meeting so started early.. bit faster than last week still slow tho.. im just dog tired at the moment.

  • tommy were you there last week? I was waiting in the inner circle by york gate until about 6:35 and there was just 1 person on fixed/ss who was hanging around too, wearing mostly black I think. I didn't wait any longer for people so went on my own.

  • Was a ghost town out there today. Must have done 6 laps without seeing a single group of cyclists.

    sound ideal

  • Might have been me but I'm not normally a whole 5 minutes late
    Im there every-week. Fixed.
Ive got an rear facing seat cage (until I get tired of picking my bottles up off the road)

Again didn't seem as busy today.. although it certainly picks up after 7pm
Nights are drawing in now tho.

  • Today I was quick. First sub hour this year. It's getting dark out there though.

Sorry gents, I didn't make it out to the gates in time. One of these days it will come together!

  • Good to meet you too Tommy.

The evening was going well until my rear inner tube popped 46 minutes in. I really wanted to complete an hour. Next time!

  • I was there with another frenchi.

  • So long as the weather is dry I'll be there fuji'ed and fixed.
Its the ITU world final in Hydepark this weekend so I'm expecting to see nothing but tribars and disc wheels lap after lap.

Nowhere else to train if your staying in a hotel near the course.
Should be a good early autumn season.

  • I'll be there tommorow. Geared

  • note the Hub closes an hour earlier at 7pm now its september.. Im going to start earlier starts getting dark before then anyway.
