  • Yes they do he have to sleeve it.

  • :-}

    ...he'd have to sleeve it.

  • Then using one would be retarded.

I have a gossamer chainset and I think it's fine- shifts ok, I've not noticed any appreciable ring flex when deploying my epic power along CS7.

I am sure the cranks could lose maybe half a kilo in weight, but if Ed is looking to do some immediate upgrades then I reckon wheels would be the place to spend the money.

  • He doesn't like FSA.

It's just plain racism if you ask me.

  • Indeed, just simple plan old fashion racism.

  • Just ride the fucking thing. Upgrade when it needs it. ie when its worn out or broken.

  • Hewitt?

There are a lot of very happy repeat customers amongst the CTC crowd.

    Yes.

  • Just ride the fucking thing. Upgrade when it needs it. ie when its worn out or broken.

Get off this thread with your sence, there is no need for anything like that around here!

  • Sorry.

  • Ride for the next week with out waterproofs and no gloves and all will be forgiven.

  • Waterproofs, WhoTF do you think I am, Scoble.

Gloves are compulsory on all rides.

  • Frankly, not keen on the FSA.

I would'nt buy FSA aftermarket. Its mad overpriced. But it OK stuff, just overpriced to make complete bikes look like a good deal.

^Not stuff I've rephrased from Mr Testers posts.....honest.

Just ride the fucking thing. Upgrade when it needs it. ie when its worn out or broken.

Needs a 10mm stem, negative setback seatpost, and swept back bars.

  • Scoble rode Richmond park without gloves today!

  • Burn him!

  • And the temperature in London today was what?

  • Needs a 10mm stem, negative setback seatpost, and swept back bars.

    And a bigger saddle.

  • Ed doesn't know what the fuck he wants. He just reads shit on the internet, gets confused then re-spouts it in a drunk fashion.

  • Sorry I'm just going to come out and say it. Spending £1,200 on a tigra bike is retarded, no matter how long the headtube is.

If you're getting it for closer to £800 because of your staff discount then you should be getting the 105 version.

Personally I think you should just save up and get a Honda Goldwing. It's comfortable, reliable, has panniers, and won't hurt your knees.

  • Photoshop the face please

  • Who said I'm getting the Tiagra equipped bicycle? £800 is for the 105.

    Tiagra equipped version is £680.

  • You're either a drug dealer or a pimp.

  • Are dealers sold by the gram? I like mine fat.

I guessed at -30%, but if you're getting more man up and get the Three you pussyo.

  • Right now I'm going to try the 51cm version and see how that feel, the 54cm feel almost like it'll fit nicely.

Then I'll worry about the long term, if it fit, perfect, if not, deposit back please.

  • ed, if one feels almost perfect then why are you trying the other?

it either fits or you are trying to force it to fit

my money is on you buying the bike and selling it within 4 months

  • Red is good but the rings are flexy as fuck. This is only noticeable when shifting under load (which you should be avoiding anyway)

Some of us always shift under load.
