I usually eat:
A small bowl of porridge (made with water) and a handful of raisins thrown in (~100 cal)
Half a pot of soup (~200 cal)
Other half pot of soup or some cut up turkey breast with salad (~200 cal)It's not exactly exciting but i've lost 4.8 kg in 4 weeks.

76.9kg this morning, Down from 79.1 after Xmas. If i can get down to 75 or less by the time my first target race comes round (15th March) I will be extremely pleased. Have traded snacking on flapjacks, for snacking on protein bars. Think it's the fact that they are so dense that they actually bend light is helping, as i can only eat half at a time.

I can now fit into my wedding suit again, which I couldn't do this time last year. Meeting mrs_com later for dinner so will be wearing it again (sans tie and button hole). She will either think it's awesome or be creeped out as fuck.

Currently if I walk past a Sumo wrestler (a common occurrence in Forest Hill) they point and laugh at my amazing fatness.

I'm at my lowest weight in 7 months, but I look like absolute shit. I'm not surprised by this because extended inactivity has completely dissolved the already pathetic amount of muscle I had so I can reliably say that a huge amount of this weight is flab. I used to do a mix of strength training and cardio as additional work off the bike, but since I've been unable to hack cardio I stopped doing both of them, apparently because I'm a moron? I've decided to stop being a moron and start bodyweight exercise up again, sans the cardio stuff I used to do along with it. I really can't imagine what fevered justification my brain had for not doing this months ago. Wtf.

Awww I'm sure you don't look hideous! Everyone gets a little fat now and then.
Try changing your mindset instead of going to the gym. Simply imagine YOU ARE the perfect weight, and look PERFECT and keep that affirmation up.
You'll see, soon enough - you won't even care.. as you'll be glowing from the inside out! -

Fnarf. That's very kind, but I don't think my GP would be impressed with that strategy. I caught her writing "SUSPECTED FATTY LIVER" on my record when she thought I wasn't watching. If anyone needs positive affirmations over direct action it's dammit and eyebrows.
I am a goddess the way I am!

Having a week off my exercise regime as I don't want to drive my cough/cold further down into my chest just before a skiing holiday. Had managed to hit a new low (82.4kg, under 13 stone!) last Friday but it's what the scales say on a Wednesday that matter most. Hoping for sub 80kg before Easter.
Expect to undo some of my hard work whilst skiing next week but then the rest I've had/having (~9 hours of cycling/running/swimming not done) should mean I don't go into that holiday knackered and so I can rip my legs to shreds on the slopes. The rest/holiday should also give me renewed enthusiasm for the training regime (and hopefully it will start to warm up a bit).

feel like I've stopped losing weight for the last couple of weeks, its probably as I've had a few social functions that I haven't held back at and allowed my inner fatty out at....
I've no ramped up training levels to full attack mode so its going to be interesting to see how I cope with increasing my healthy food intake without increasing sugary the crap...
I do also need to think about the amount of protein I'm eating, as I'm looking more and more like a rugby player and less like a fat triathlete which is an improvement, but not necessarily in the way I want!
Eat hot coals. Taste then becomes irrelevant.
