Last week I didn't have lunch before 2pm, and on two days I forgot/didn't have time to have lunch at all. How I can forget these things I don't know as I'm so fucking hungry ALL THE TIME.

I never don't have time for food. I make time for food.

I need to start having my lunch earlier than 3pm. I just ate 3 sandwiches...
I usually try to ensure my biggest meal is breakfast and dinner is smallest. This works out well until I finish my dinner and realise there is enough for seconds.

Breakfast is my only consistent dinner, and it's substantial.
I just had a Mars bar, I feel fairly disgusting now.

There is nothing left. Well, there are some mini flapjack things but I'm going to wait until after 4.30pm to have those with a cup of tea.

Doing PhD transfer report at the moment has led to almost continues grazing whilst sitting on my arse from 8am until midnight 7 days a week, no gym, no swim, no bike for 3 weeks.
Back over 90 kg and feeling like shit.
Now, about those mini flapjacks...

I've eaten 6 cheese strings today. I don't even like them.

Teaching myself to feel really guilty when I snack, working, literally sat next to an open pack of bourbons, not even tempted

I've never had good control but normally deal with that by just eating loads of good food, I just don't have the time at the moment. Only 8 days until hand in though-then I'm getting lean :)

had managed to lose 9 pounds this year, just went away for a short holiday, ate loads, did fuck all exercise and gained 4 pounds

The milkshake chat earlier inspired me. Strawberry and banana - fruit combined with milk, I reckon this is a balanced meal.

A balanced starter, maybe.

I've started going to the gym again, which means core/back/chest/arms/stretching/squats.
Only a few of those are cycling related, and taken together they normally mean I put bulk on my upper body (for me, at least).
I was also a scale-busting 78kg this morning.
Irons hands twice

Just swapped gyms to one that is a few streets away. I haven't been going to the one near work due to a combination of a shoulder injury and the fact that it's only possible to get anything done there at 7:30am (I have been hating mornings for the last 6 months).
The new one is actually 5p a month cheaper than The Gym and I can use other centres for an extra £3 a visit so can go swimming and the like.
Will go over to the new one tomorrow evening and see what the craic is.

Dammit, are you using the gym at the bike lock up place? I need to use the lockup when I move down and the gym add on isnt too much more
-
• #7670
Yep.

• #7671
It alright?

It's ok- basic, just a load of free weights, one bar, and a couple of benches.
It's almost always got a maximum of 3 people in it though, rather than 15 steroidal blokes sitting on a piece of equipment each, staring at their iPhone.
Which is nice.

I made a calzone and then filled it with macaroni cheese.
It was balanced in the sense that it was much bigger than the plate i put it on.

There is a spinning studio, and a hall for group stuff- I of course focus on looking moody whilst lifting something very heavy.
I usually eat earlier but I sleep in Mondays for MaximumRecoveryTime™
