  • I am no longer clinically obese.

    Which is great.

I am now eating mackrel on toast, instead of 9 portion chocolate chip brioches, as recovery supper. Which frankly isnt so great.

Well done. Now just drop the toast.

  • 20 minute roller session before breakfast, gna try 45 minutes before dinner too, see if i can keep that going 4 times a week.

  • Ditch the roller. Go for a ride.
    Hate yourself less.
(the fact I may be turboing tmw night is irrelevant). I hate myself.

Also for useful and pretty workout plans, I quite like neila rey's website.

  • taller than smallfurry by 2cm, fuck yeah.

In my mind I'll always be 169cm. Not sure when I came to that number but I've been assuming I'm 169cm for years. Except of course, I tell folk I'm 170cm.

    Then the doctors says 167cm.

    pfffft. doctors.

  • 177cm* suck it midgets.

  • 177cm* suck it midgets.

You do realise that this means you need to run 600m more than me per 10km on strava. For our 'relative' distances to be comparable.

    Jus'sayin.

  • 188cm. No rounding required.

    (round enough, thank you)

So if I've done 124km so far this month, you only need to have done 116km?

  • Two days ago, I was a fraction over 71kg with 70 kg in my sights. Now I am visiting my folks and at the mercy of their over-rich habits. Hmmph.

And after a long weekend which had a birthday celebration in it plus them feeding me steak on all the other nights, managed to put on only 1.5kg, some of which will be bloat from the sudden intake of rich food. Should be back to 72 or just under tomorrow, I think. Still have my eye on you, 70kg.

173cm, since we're all sharing our heights. In my home town, that makes me a giant.

  • A/s/h/w/l?

  • is the l for length?

not relative to my height is all im saying.

  • I'm sure you make up for it in other areas...

  • So if I've done 124km so far this month, you only need to have done 116km?

    Of course.

    Because.

    Science.

.....not that I'll be hitting 124km any time soon. I massively regret adding you and sainburys to my watch list. My Daily Strava update now reads.

'Everyone you're following is doing shite loads more than you.
........why not get out there yourself, and stop being a lazy feck?'

  • me either by about .3 of a bmi point! woo!

Now that smashing the marathon is your primary goal, are you satisfied just not to go back over that level, or would you tolerate shading back up over the line, even?

  • I have decided that eating 3000 calories in one day is not helping me lose weight, even if I have (according to hrm) burnt that off with exercise. So I am going to give up exercise and see what happens.

it's pretty much bouncing up and down randomly by a few lbs now with hydration levels and bathroom stuff probably being the root cause, would ideally like to slowly trend downwards still (I am doing a shit load of exercise 6 days a week after all) but I'm not actively trying to force it.

i would say i'll lose the weight after the marathon but will be spending 10 days in chicago 2 weeks after so that might not go as planned.

  • <<< Goes to training camp, makes extensive use of buffet and bar, comes back heavier. #doingitwrongbutohsoright

I did this for 3 months - It works really well.

Not as a weight loss method, but it works well nonetheless.

  • I'm pretty sure as long as the calories aren't sugary junk then 3000Calories per day can work as a weight loss programme, as long as you burn >3000 per day that is.

My latest fun game is eating a whole loaf of Soreen as an afternoon snack...

  • with butter i hope.

  • Soreen with butter is incredible. Have you tried toasting it first?

  • takes too long. i'd need a slice of it raw while i waited.

Bare in mind the HRM guess could be 30% out. Its a rubbish calculation.

I've always believed that running a slight deficit is more productive then running a massive one. Stops your body panicking so much. So I concur.

Although I ate another 8 portion brioche last night. After bonking quite hard on the rowing machine (cough 'notaeuph' cough).
