I keep throwing up any water I try to take on while cycling/running. So dont eat any sugars while training either, to aviod further dehydration.
Its great for losing weight. But I dont half wake up with a headache every morning.

"...finally got below 67kg today (66.4!) but that's probably because I got really drunk last night and had a muffin for dinner and then drank some more and then threw up spectacularly."
Alcohol, is there anything it can't do?

All summer I've not been as thirsty as usual but this week I am again - diabetes indicator or my body detoxing after. A week of boozing and eating badly...?

fuck. I have ~6 weeks to really lose the last 5kg. Problem is social life gets in the way and I end up eating out and drinking too much. As of today, I'm switching to red wine rather than beer.
I already run 3x a week, and do a 20mile+ cycle on Sundays but I guess that's not going to be enough and will need to up it. Also plan all my meals for 6 weeks solid to ensure proper nutrition.
Dunno if I really can do this

tbh that was kinda a question as well about how realistic this is and any suggestions for how ?
I weight ~82kg, ~20% bodyfat (give or take 2%), 5 foot 10, waist ~35 inch.
Need that waist down to sub 32 inch, bodyfat down to ~15% in 6 weeks. -

The weight loss sheet is looking a bit empty and unloved like a puppy bought for Xmas.....

I've been really good all week, apart from 2 Krispy kremes today, but then I have cycled 65 miles and done a weights session!
Long run tomorrow followed by a long swim on Saturday, and possibly a bike ride in some hills on Monday should see most of my holiday weight gone!

You sound pretty healthy to me, what's the deadline all about?
-
• #6885
Oh I look healthy, but fuck am I. I live on Caffeine pretty much.
It started out before I left London as a drunk bet with my ex. 1 year to get in shape. I forgot about it here and carried on partying/eating out/socializing etc... Then a few weeks ago work entered me in a race and she's just called to point out how in shape she is and wtf am I doing.
It's not so much about the forfeit, it's more about I can't fucking let her beat me. So, need a six pack ( Guinness please) asap. Oh and it's also almost ski season and I don't want to die

What's the heaviest food that's good for you?
In other news, finally got below 67kg today (66.4!) but that's probably because I got really drunk last night and had a muffin for dinner and then drank some more and then threw up spectacularly.
Beef and Potatoes.

Kirth I think if you cut out the hogshead of booze you drink per day, and upped the exercise then you'd do it easily.

So doing pretty well today, 3.05 of running burning 2600 calories, however, I've just found man vs food on tv. I now really want a massive sandwich and a milkshake...

so no booze is decreasing weight, down to 80.1kg this morning.
mind you, I'm also perm exhausted... think paleo is working but I'm not over the carb fatigue yet. perhaps time to take a week holiday and sit on a beach -

Back from Ireland half a stone heavier with spuds and Guinness.
The bike creaked when I rode in yesterday I'm sure

yah, still under 81kg ( 80.5kg ) even though I went to all you can eat pizza for lunch yesterday. Mind you, that was all I ate and then I walked probably 5miles around an outlet shopping mall in the evening.

Back down to 72 ish and don't seem to be makoing much more progress...
Almost tempted to try something new to shake things up, 4 weeks to go untill my next marathon and I'd like to be at least 1kg lighter, any suggestions?
I could probably just cut the protein and gym sessions and loose a bit of muscle, but I'd rather get rid of fat...

Over the last four days I have eaten icecream at every meal and had breakfasts consisting of two almond croissants and a cornish pasty... and yet have only put on 0.8kg. Well done me.

I've eaten fuck all today as I haven't been able to keep any proper food down. I am looking forward to reaping the rewards of only eating grapes and a bag of sweets on the scales in a few days time, I should try this not-getting-any-sleep-on-a-school-night more often.

Just train for the marathon, don't think about weight. It will go off naturally.
Looking forward to watching your pain! -

Back in the gym this morning after a week and a bit off, during that week drank almost every day and ate loads.
Guess that's why they call it a holiday!
Back in the gym today and somehow managed to bench more than I could before holiday. Almost benching my body weight which was my first goal.

I think the only sensible thing to do is completely abstain from alcohol untill the marathon, not easy given that I have my cousins wedding and my school reunion between now and then, but its the easiest and most sensible approach to take...

Remove alcohol and bread from your diet and it drops off. Once you're at it for a while, alcohol seems to lose it's appeal. Bread on the otherhand...
^ I feel awful, mentally and physically. I did one of those drunken, sobbing in the rain rides home too.
