Does the alcohol not stop the ketosis?
My understanding from my friend who did it was you have to choose low carb options. So basically spirits.
I'm now just below 84kg which is nice. It's interesting looking at my weights. I had a couple of evenings out which I was half dreading, but by basically not eating through most of those days it seems to have come right. Other than cycling to work I've only managed to get in a short run at the beginning of the week and then a 2-3hr ride at the weekend. So this week more exercise is the aim.
I also stocked up on meat and veg in a big way over BBQs etc over the weekend so we'll see what difference that makes over the next couple of days.

Down a little over 3kg in a week. Gastroenteritis is no fun at all. I've still got a couple of days until I'm allowed to eat proper meals again so I'm still going to lose more...

Had a huge BBQ Saturday night, lots of beer was consumed too.
Really didn't feel good yesterday from eating a lot.
So I've decided I'll do the treat every 10 days thing rather than most weekends. I guess eating and exercising 5 days out of 7 isn't bad but I think I'm slipping and last week it was only eating well 4 days and 3 days eating rubbish.

Going to stop worrying about loosing weight for the moment, not sure 68KG will be sustainable, but seem to be getting rid of fat still so going to target that for the moment

Also weighed myself this morning and the scales said over 82kg even though last week I was in the 70's.
Really disheartening.

77.7 this morning- all the sevens.

The thing about the heat is that I just can't be bothered to eat anything substantial. Lime & Soda with tonnes of ice and bits of frozen chopped banana (try it) has pretty much been my diet for the past 4 days.

I know what you mean. I was gutted when I seemed to be putting on weight last week. But you'll have varriences. My GF doesn't think I should wiegh myself daily for that reason. Personally I like seeing the variations and it helps to refocus me each morning.
Ultimately though the key is where you are over a month+ period and what your measurements are.

You eat this, instead of drinking it? Post a picture of this concoction, please, it sounds intriguing.

Sorry, there should have been a comma before the banana bit.
Chop up a banana, stick it in the freezer and it's like eating banana ice cream.

Yeah I guess it's hard to look at the bigger picture sometimes.
Back studying from tomorrow which means I'll have 2 days a week when I can't work out.
But I've decided to stay off the boozey nights until I go away on holiday, still have the odd beer here and there though.
Very tempted to join the gym and possibly put in a couple of sessions a week before work, figure if I can get down there for 7ish do 45mins-1 hour shower and work which is just around the corner for 8.
It'll mean I'll seriously have to start going to bed earlier, something I'm bad at.

Oh, ok. I have several bananas looking very sorry for themselves that I couldn't figure out what to do with, so now i'm about to make myself even later for work than I already am by going off and chopping them up now. I hope you're pleased with yourself.

Stick the whole lot in the freezer? That sounds good!

Having a bit of a dilemma and could do with some advice.
I like the idea of joining our local gym, quite near my work so I can hopefully go before work. It's one of the gym group ones so only £15.99 a month. I haven't used a gym since being at college - enjoyed it then.
However would I be better off working out at home? I don't have any weights but I don't really like the idea of getting home from work and not working out. Also this would obviously cost nothing. Most of the home stuff would be body weight.

Why not start doing shit at home and if it fails try the gym. Cost: £0 Status: Potential Win.

I'm doing plenty at home at the moment, run, squat with paving slab, press ups and curls with paving edging. I feel like I should be lifting more weight but less reps. I do the above exercises 3x a week and cycle to and from work each day.
I'd like to have a chin up bar at home but have nowhere for it.

Well you've answered your own bloody question then haven't you?

65.6kg. After a weekend of beer, ice cream (we made our own Helado con arroz de leche) and all you can eat buffets (one of which I ate 3 puddings- creme brule, some chou pastry thing and a cheesecake with fudge sauce)...
Time to train properly again.
On a side note, loving my 15 mile each way commute.

What Hippy said about just doing stuff at home is wise, however, doing it at home means you could get a bit lax with it, like doing it half-arsed in front of the tv, not doing your exercises as frequently as you are planning to at the moment etc. Signing up to a gym commits and motivates you. And obviously you get all the equipment

ooo chocolate. why are you so lovely and yet so bad.
7 small pieces and destroyed my carb ration for the day :S
72.0kg this morning, pleasantly surprised after the 10 course tasting menu I had last night!
Today's plan is run 5k to pickup the car from the restaurant, go for a walk somewhere, and then swimming tonight,
