Substitue with low-fat frozen yoghurt?

Had a poisoned curry from Samosa in Stoke Newington the other day, lost 5lbs in 2 days puking and shitting my guts up.
You can print that out for inspiration if you need it, guys!

Any dietary dudes know if dates are any good for you? I know they are, but they're so rammed full of sugar. I can't get enough of them. But is it 'good' sugar? I need my daily date fix but I'm worried they're surreptitiously sabotaging my weight loss efforts by pumping my body with way more than it's RDA of sugar.

Do not want.

At one point I had so little energy I nearly just lay down on the bathroom floor and let it all come out at it's leisure. That was a low.
I can laugh about it now.

My tactic, which is working quite well, is to give my body a lot of short, sharp blasts of exercise along with two decent rides of 80-100km a week,
I commute 14.5km each way and I'm trying to get to the gym for 40 mins at lunchtime every day where I am doing nothing more than solid cardio on the treadmill, which estimates I am burning 700 calories per session.
The aim is to keep my metabolism fast at all times. I have also restricted beer and bread/all processed carbs to an absolute minimum.
Really pissed off after an indisciplined few weeks has seen me shoot from 92kg to 95kg (albeit against an overall downwards trend over the last year). 85kg is the target.

Off the carbs and it's making me so grumpy and irritable....but it's working.

Right, I'm on the list and currently thinking of reasons why my breakfast shouldn't involve copious amounts of butter or sugar.
-
• #5365
Maybe both.

Right...
I'm also on the list.
Going to cut out the booze for a month and slim down my lunches at work.
Also riding to Brussels this month and doing the DD in July so plenty of time on the bike as well as my usual gym routine of strength and conditioning stuff, calisthenics and circuits.
Hopefully the combination of booze free and going a little harder at the gym will see some results. Thanks all, this is great motivation for me.

I've added a simple line chart to it for up to 30 people but can I fuck get the dates to be along the bottom of the horizontal axis.

I weighed myself this morning. Uh oh. Diet time. I'm toying with the idea of joining the spreadsheet but currently too ashamed.

I was levelling floors this weekend just gone, and was carrying 25kg bags of SLC up the stairs from the car to the flat.
Coincidentally that (from the chart) is the difference between you and I.
Once you've shifted that I don't think you will believe what a difference it will make running/on the bike.

I know, definitely not a vanity thing either. Just have an awesome France trip this summer and want to enjoy it. Up to now I've put up with it and always done my summer tours as is, but kind of want to see what it feels like. Will put it all back on after the tour though.

Don't think I want to get down to your weight though Dammit, my girth is my worth, I pay like I weigh baby!

Great stuff, this looks like it's got enough people to get some momentum, not sure how someone already knows there weight for next week!
I'll play with it later on but until we have a bit more data then there's not much I can do really!
I'm definitely doing enough exercise to get the weight off, it's a case of avoiding alcohol, sugary foods and finding the right balance of furling myself to get through my training but not overdoing it!
I've just done a count of hours spent exercising this week, not including about 50 minutes of commuting a day and its at 13 hours, split between cycling, running and swimming....

I've lost weight/fat, that thigh increase/jean tightness must have been muscle swell, as now everything is getting looser.
Yay for summer. -

must be the extra commuting.

^ win!
Think I might join in with this. I'm still holding on to my Winter insulation and I know it's going to cause me to suffer on every single one of those short sharp climbs in Epping Forest :-(
My current nemesis is ice cream. I can't seem to get enough of the stuff.
