really struggling to battle low energy levels at the minute. I felt fine for months with a massively reduced food intake, now I can barely keep my eyes open most of the day and my brain just won't seem to shut up at night so down on sleep too.
haven't weighed myself in weeks but I think that would just depress me even further so will just concentrate on getting back on an even keel and bringing my mood/energy up before obsessing over 0.2kg etc
going to try and be more sensible and not skip meals (apart from breakfast as the last thing I can face in the morning is food - maybe a 10 o'clock apple or summat). Back to having lunch everyday now (usually Muesli and Fat Free Onken Vanilla Yoghurt) an just spent £90 on groceries last night that were mostly veg or fish (had a metric fuckton of spring greens last night - if only there was a dog in the office I could blame today....)
Maybe it's seasonal affective disorder bollocks, who knows. Maybe it's stress.

I went to the gym for an hour before work today, almost ate my desk I was so hungry.

2 things, do weigh yourself, and do eat breakfast.
Eating breakfast gets your metabolism going, fact, not having it means your body is still asleep until 10 and is trying to keep calories to keep itself going...
If you are afraid of the scales your lying to youself, if your up on weight so what, do something about it, if you've lost it then it'll make you feel ace, just do it when you've beengood for a couple of days and weigh yourself first thing in the morning to give you the best result possible....

Full of cold, still eating healthy but no exercise for me. I think I'll eat dinner tonight and retire to the sofa/ bed.

Weighing yourself can also sometimes be a pleasant surprise. And if you do it every morning it gives you an incentive not to indulge in too much late night snacking the night before

Stevo if you're gonna cut calories - don't cut it from brekkie. its super important.
Cut your evening meal instead.

Breakfast like a king
Lunch like a prince
Dine like a pauperOr in my case
Breakfast like a king
Second breakfast like a pauper
Lunch like a pauper
Second lunch like a pauper
Dine like a pauperThe only tricky bit the transition from eating dinner like a king when you spend a few weeks waking up starving at about 5am!

Should mention that is paraphrased from someone else and not my own work...

not sure how I've done it, as I've been eating like a pig, but my late weigh in for last week has me down at 95.9

Down to 82.4 Kg this morning. Dinner didn't happen last night so survived on a couple of cereal bars and some fruit. Oh and a glass of wine when I got home.
Got a KOM on strava last night too. All good!

Without a bit of context hard to read if that's good or bad, but seem to remember that you were well over 100 some time back so well done!
Just under 70 again this morning, the second chocolate fondant last night didn't do as much damage as feared, but was an error nonetheless!
Need to be good for the rest of the week now, end of mine and henrys competition on friday morning :s he's gone very quiet so suspect he's going to drop a huge bomb on friday and blow me out of the water!
Always said that if I was under 70 I'd be happy, especially as I was 84.9kg on the 1st october last year, just need to keep it off!

Interesting story in the New York Times about the benefits of interval training/HIIT, even done with cardiac patients. Wasn't sure where best to post this, but perhaps this seems as good a place as any.

In that case I'd imagine you're feeling pretty pleased with yourself this morning!

Yep, and that was before any kind of routine.
Not much to do in work so just caught up with unread forum threads and probably lost another pound or so.....

Well in steveo.
This week I've taken it a bit easy, still feeling rubbish but keeping an eye on what I'm eating. Speaking to doctors regarding my knees soon too.

Hadn't been to the gym for about 3 weeks whilst waiting for new ink to heal, had such a great session today. Had to knock a bit of weight off my squat (not sure how much this had to do with the 10 mile run and 50 miles fixed in the past few days) but otherwise felt good and am now in such an awesome mood!

Woah. Three days in Edinburgh: cooked breakfasts, a few beers, big dinners, no bike or running. Back up to 88kg! Better get back to healthy eating tomorrow.

I have the ULTIMATE solution to weight loss.
Get REALLY REALLY sick, then don't eat and barely drink for weeks on end.
Works like a charm.
Lost about 3/4 a stone already, wahoo
Back below 70 again this morning, phew!
Unhealthy dinner tonight is being written off by running to and from work and missing my peanut and raisin afternoon snack.
Hope to be at or around 69 at the weekend and then try and maintain that weight, but its something I find really difficult to do.
