I use a mix of the Wii balance board, and the gym scales. One Gym outlet has a slidey balance type scale, the other has an electric one.
Generally they all agree

I use these ones

they're cheap but seem to do the trick -

Stop confusing me.
I just need scales to tell me I'm not losing weight (Yeah, I went there. Fatties).Dammit weigh's everything so I'm going with his recommendation.

72kg on the nose the morning, still got a run and an hour of yoga.

14miles on saturdaykeeping at this weight for the rest of the week is the goal giving me one to go before 19th February.
had quite a nice cranberry, almond and dark chocolate bar earlier at a meeting (it had already gone for an hour over so i had lost all faith in being able to eat lunch) kept the wrapper to see if i can find some more, was quite tempted to grab the whole plate full on the way out!

mysupermarket.com says that asda and sainsburys do carman cereal bars but no sign of choc bars. worth trying in store though.

Sub-62kg this morning. Possibly dehydrated due to running to Norths and back(plus a death tt lap). Just over 7mi all in.
Managed to all but resist temptation and had 2 halfs of cider and 1 chip. Running up Swains is a twat, my hips ache like anything still. -
• #2939
Post run and yoga my weight is down to 71.4, this must be dehydration.
But excited if it isn't, will drink Plenty of water tonight and report back in the morning....

I'm currently 71.8 after dinner.
Its not bad... -

Big week for the challenge henners!
How you finding life on promax?
I think the only time I ever tried the 'full promax diet' I put on a couple of kilos in a week and decided it was too much protein for me.

Its not brilliant. But not bad. I'm having some adverse effects in the bowel dept, but they're subsiding now.
But I think because it means no snacking, I'm eating less and less, and feeling better on runs etc. Its a massive week. I really want to break 71 before the end of Jan.
I've set myself 65 as the revised target weight for may. I haven't been that since I was 17, swimming everyday and running every evening.
3 weeks till the end of our challenge.
Theoretically that's 3 more kg lost, though i suspect at some point the muscle I'm building is going to start overpowering the fat I'm losing.
That and from friday i can go back to a 2/ day exercise routine... -

77.7! Going in the wrong direction at speed!
-
• #2944
My target remains 69.9 and to sustain untill may, that doesn't preclude loosing fat but want to ensure I give myself the best chance of reamining injury free untill the marathon so figure a few more calories will help that.
I am feeling that this probably isn't going to be my final weight as I now feel I'm close enough to a six pack that its achievable so will push for that post marathon if possible. According to my home scales (which still tell me I'm overweight) my ideal body weight is 67.3 so that could be an updated target for then!
Was 71.7 this morning fully hydrated which gives me a pretty good shout of reaching my target in time for our challenge and I don't have a massive run in the plan this weekend to throw things off kilter.
-
• #2945
was at 94.6 this morning. so still going in the right direction. i feel i can keep this up too.
-
• #2946
I need to start developing the 'six pack', though in reality I don't really want one, just no flub.
Its proper hard to shift it, think I've got 3kgs extra there easy....
(70.8 this morning) -

Second run to work this week today. Felt great, sounds strange the fact it was raining helped.
My legs are killing me now, feel very sore, I think It's the fact I haven't run since before Christmas and this week I've done a lot of running and cycling.
I had a pizza for tea last night and in hindsight probably shouldn't have but we are moving this week so the house is upside down.
-
• #2948
That's prob where I want to be, but I can see it now if I tense so figure its there already and once the flubber has gone then it'll be visible, I don't plan to do anything on top of running to develop it any further.
70.8 is amazing, hoping now that by sunday I'll be sub 71.
I'm trying to work out what's different this week to make the weight come off a little better, I think its a combination of not putting on a bit of weight at the weekend, having gine from drinking a can of diet coke a day and having a healthier (and higher calorie lunch) so its probably a combo of the first and last and the middle one is just better for my general health...
-
• #2949
I think mine is pure stress levels.
I'm mid exams, so everything is tense and I think thats helping. Plus I have nothing to do but work my ass off, so food buying is essentially whats cheap, quick and brain food....
I'd be amazed if I keep below 71, as exams finish tomorrow, so I'm probably going to drink some sort of alcoholic beverage. -
• #2950
Good news, get back to work though!!
My weighing in day is tomorrow and if I am sub 71 then I may treat myself with a couple of beverages, having dinner with one of my oldest friends so it would be rude not to anyway!
we use a Tanita
