Too bad it's BB code and not HTML.
The skill set is easily portable. BB Code is just a set of specific text patterns which a script template engine can turn into HTML, so when you write BB code it becomes HTML as soon as you post it.

Skill set portability and software parsing aside, it's still not HTML.

"How hard is it to keep it tidy!"
if you mean turning words or phrases in to links then very hard, I have no idea how to do that. And don;t bother trying to explain because we will both just end up frustrated and annoyed.- Select word of phrase
- Click the Insert Link button
- Paste a URL (http://blah.com) into the field
- Sexy time.

And that's a bad thing? I suggest you turn off the light, get some drink, some tissue for the wank bank, and spend all evening going through 749 pages.
There are some lovely gems that you hasn't seen before and it's worth it.
