Has anyone used Veet cream? Any good?
Used the spray on stuff last year, it works well if the smell of burning hair isn't so nice but that passes quickly. I'm pretty damn hairy and it got rid of the lot, it also grows back finer which is preferable to sharp stuble.

used boots hair removal mousse a few times and that works pretty well! But yeh smell isn't great! Waxing is the best though!

Right. I'll give Veet a crack then.. I don't mind the smell of burning hair.
Totally agree waxing is best and I used to do it all the time when only doing tris as a month between races would mean the hair grew back long enough to wax.
But road racing pretty much every weekend now means it's not possible.

wondering whether to start going hairless again, i stopped because I wasn't swimming twice a day any more, but now I'm back up to being in the pool pretty much every day i think it would be nice to be hair free, just don't know if i can be bothered!

Trying to grow out my leg hair so I can get waxed... roughly how long does the hair need to be for them to get a good purchase on it?
-
• #411
Fairly long, over half a centimeter at least. Don't believe the packets that say 'effective on short hair' they are LYING.
-
• #412
cool, well it's about that now and I've still got about a month till my major race so hopefully it'll be plenty long enough by then. I was going to pay someone professional to do it, no way I'm going to go down the self waxing path!

The added bonus about a professional wax is that the waxing lady sometimes accidently touches your knob as she waxing..

You mean she wax you off?

^^is that true?
...and are home waxing kits any good for use on balls? If so are there any brands to be recommended?

And then wax happened?

You're getting confused by that old myth about using WD40 as a high gloss car wax. I'm not bothered about shine, just want them smooth.

Believe me, if you use it for a week even your balls fall off, let alone hair.

If a man shave his balls, does he need to put some after-shave?
Is there even after-shave for pubic areas? -
• #422
Teabagging is the preferred post-shave treatment.

after having a similar conversation with a lady friend of mine about this subject, including the testiculars, her recomendation was nair.
this was after i told her i had a debt hanging over my head from a lost bet about getting my legs waxed, specifically a brazillian, and was worried about the ball area. she advised me to hit it with nair first, no hair to wax, no pain. its supposedly gentle enough for that tender area.

I should write for Penthouse. Filthy.
Don't, it'd only eat into your post rate.

That seals it... accidentally touching my own knob is much less exciting.
Smells weird, doesn't get all the hair off. I found I'd use the cream and then have shave off all the bits it didn't get and it just didn't seem worth tolerating the smell and the cost for the results.
NB my experience of Veet was some years ago so it might have improved since then.
