As far as i'm aware, the logo was chosen by the forum right, due to being the most popular design?
Therefore i'm not having a go at Wayne for designing it.

All the work you and David put in didn't cause the chosen companies shit quality control...therefore i'm not having a go at you two.

I merely find it amusing that after all these months and months of hyping up how great these caps are gonna be, they are now snapping after a few uses. Add my flatmates' to the list too by the way.

I can see how it would be amusing, but I'm annoyed at quality of them, not just because a lot of time and effort went in to it but because people have paid money for them. I took it personally as your dig is as a consequence of mostly my actions.

I'm not arsey here and in the whole scheme of life, it's no biggy. As I said, as long as most people are happy with theirs.

I'm still happy to mend anyone's caps at any stage, just PM me.

I think they are great... not so fussed on the logo, but I like the ribbon.

Scott, you're making a mountain out of mole hill there.

The only thing that has gone wrong is that in some (~10%) the elastic hasn't held at the back and one end has come free.

The beak is good, the stitching and structure of the cap is sound, the ribbon is good quality and precisely where it should be, the printing is good and well-placed.

There is one minor defect affecting a small minority of caps. This isn't the same as declaring shit quality across the board, which is what you're doing by implying the output of the suppliers is the result of shit quality control. Mistakes are human, what shines is how people deal with them and with refunds being offered and volunteers offering to fix them and still general good will all round I think a lot of grace has been shown by most in the community.

I'm not sure what's put you in a grump today, but you are in a foul mood and seemingly wanting to pick fights. A bit of perspective might be nice, I wasn't and haven't taken offence but your persistence and generalisation is making me think I perhaps should've. If I'm wrong, show me and temper your behaviour or go make a cup of tea.

I laughed at the shit quality control...If there are any mountains being made it's by people taking that personally.

At no point did i say anything about quality of the overall caps...i said 'Quality control'...it's a different thing!

The headband/elastic should be more important to people than the ribbon and should be one of the most important things to be checked by quality control.

A warning to cap owners: These caps are allergic to France.

I'd been wearing my cap all night from London to Dover with no problems, but then not too far into France the elastic went. Wasn't doing anything other than wearing it so it's not like it was suddenly stretched as I was putting it on ar anything like that. So there is only one logical explanation: An allergy to France.
