Can I just say to this Archie geezer; I haven't read this thread very much so i don't know what the deal is with the design, but "just Block Capitals"... Are you fucking Serious? Immediately when I picked up the cap I saw someone with a slight typgraphic insight had done it. You don't get LFGSS to look that good in the native kerning pairs, this has obviously been tweaked.
I find this quite insulting, and I'm not even the typographer responsible.

Was thinking about making a mini-frisbee, have a load of hub ball bearings kicking about that could be sewn into the edge.

I'm just trying to organise some team jerseys for my work.
Anyone had good experiences with custom jersey manufacturers? Ideally with a lead time of 6 weeks or less?
At the moment I'm looking at champion systems.
champ-sys are really good quality, I've used them for 3 different clubs now
santini, impsprt and carvhalo have been inconsistent to deal with and in my opinion the jersey quality and colour densities are poor [had to send back 3 grands worth of kit to santini as they'd printed completely the wrong colour]
what quantities are you making up?
and good luck, kit manufacture is a proper ball-ache
Not many, about 15. My company is doing a charity cycle ride in a few months, and I'm trying to convince the CEO he wants to pay for jerseys for everyone, with the company colours and logo.
Well, that worked out really well. Only took them 4 weeks, rather than the advertised 6-8, and the jerseys look really good, almost professional, and all paid for by the company (to be fair they get good advertising for very little money)
I can certainly recommend champ-sys if anyone is looking to get jerseys made.

One of my mates sent the following email to several mutual friends this morning;
Morning All,
I have to inform you all as Tom's friends it is our duty to prevent him wearing his LFGSS (London fixed gear and single speed) hat. The reason being it makes him look like a twat. This was the case before I even knew what LFGSS stood for.
If you've not seen it is a cross between a flat cap and baseball cap. When you have seen it you'll understand this e-mail
