looks like the liquigas "training programme" has been working well.
so they took 50 out of vino and 1.42 off of cadel
eurosport app is finally working properly on my phone, 3 weeks into the bloody event!
oh well better late than never!

arroyo has caught evans on the descent!
-
• #329
this is where evans is really going to miss not having a team around him.
why does he never seem to have his team mates around him?
-
• #330
Arroyo caught Vino now - amazing descending in the conditions
-
• #331
Damn I wish I was watching this, sounds like a really good stage and I'd love to see Arroyo descending, flying past everyone by the sounds of it and leaving them wiping spray from their faces.
I like it even more than normal because there aren't any drugs that will make you roll downhill any faster, it's just pure skill/balls. So for me there is none of that "wow that's amazing, but..." when you see something like this. -

Gawd know's why he moved from a team that couldn't support him, to another.
Surely he would of had some better offers ?
Anyhoo, chapeaux Arroyo, amazing descending

I would imagine vino is the kind of person who would bravely follow arroyo but doesnt sound like it.
-
• #334
Nah, Vino behaving like a cunt

this is it, i dont think its the team or the set up or the people, does he just not want support or is he just such a terrible person to spend time with that his team look at it and think na f-it i'm not helpin him out.

• #336
why wouldnt vino help?
-
• #337
Dunno - he just Arryo asked, and he just shrugged and waved him through
-
• #338
nibali has got to be a shout for domestique of the tour, that stage on the white roads earlier on he kept basso in the game and now he's tt away increasing his lead on the road.
-
• #339
No one wants to help Arroyo - he's going mental at the others for not helping him chase
-
• #340
I don't think anyone wants to tow the pink jersey to the finish, I guess they feel it's up to him to chase as the race leader.
Edit - Some classic gurning from Basso
-
• #341
you can understand that but they're cutting off their noses to spite their own feaces.
-
• #342
Just been following the text commentary online - I can't wait to see the descent on the highlights program tonight.
-
• #343
good luck guessing what time it will be on!

• #344
all over.

• #345
Well Basso did the business today

LOL - yep it's a bit of a lottery. I've managed not to miss too many so far (although the TV guide needs to be interpreted "loosely").

• #347
Well Basso's doctors did the business yesterday
fixed

HUH? 11.15pm, I'd say.

Top ride from Basso with the greatest support ever from Nibali, Scarponi too. Nice to see.
What a piece of work by Arroyo though, I thought he'd be torn apart today...

Eurosport have a bit of tendency to let other programmes run over, it usually means that you have to record at least an hour either side of what you want to watch and recently I havent been getting any of the giro recorded at all, leaving me settled on the sofa with a beer feeling somewhat pissed off!
