While I admired Evans' sufferfest up Zoncolan on Sunday, he's still a whingeing Aussie.

Arroyos mechanic has definitely got the big ring attitude

Good Stage ... good Ride Arroyos ... another few days in Pink at least.
-
• #305
Another uphill finish tomorrow so Arroyo will lose more time. He's not going to hang on, it's between Basso and Evans now.

True .... but the guy has got himself another day in Pink ... a good result for him considering he was expected to lose it.

He's done very well, as has Porte.
It suits Evans and, to a lesser extent Basso too, as it means their teams have no responsibilities for controlling the race.

Greipel's won something at the Giro, at last. Only his twelfth victory of the season.

After 5 attempts and seeing most of the other sprinters go home.
He should stick to winning shitty little races. :P

Henderson went a bit Abdou at the end, desperately trying to get into a quickly disappearing slipstream. I bet he fucked off a few of the riders coming up on the barrier.

Pure jealousy of us endurance types, who couldn't outsprint Paul-Michel riding on the spot at home. :)

Today was the final flat sprinters stage so the GC contenders took it easy, saving themselves for the next three days.
There's a risk that the Gavia climb will be missed out on Saturday's stage due to recent snowfall. Andy Hampsten and Erik Breukink have both tweeted the following comment to today's riders; "HTFU".

Fuck thats a descent
-
• #323
The upcoming climb is the hardest climb I've ever done, unrelentingly steep and it goes on and on and on without easing.
-
• #324
Yup - this is going to be a good un

One hell of a bit of descending from Garzelli
This years Giro is Brutal - have to admit Cadels riding has changed my opinion of him over the last couple of weeks
