Can anyone recommend me a decent Lockring. I just had a new wheel built with a new Hub and had two new lockrings from the same supplier, went out today and one had cracked and the other has split. Could it be a shit Lockring or am i over tightening them?

BLB lockrings are good, super chunky (like profile) and only £6.
Alternately DA have never let me down.

Am I looking in the wrong places or am I just visiting shit shops?
When I bought the current lockring the shop spent a few min searching through their bucket of bolts and random gubbins.
I'm going to put a 12T sprocket on so I need an offset lockring. If I can't find a standard lockring what's the chances of me finding an offset one.
Anyone know If I could just put a spacer between the sprocket and lockring and it still being safe?

it'll be safe - if the hub has got enough thread i.e. if the lockring is properly on the htread.
try to rotafix the cog on too (keep both hub and cog thread very clean (white spirit them to de grease), no glue etc. no grease - just metal on metal and tight- ) - i regularly ride with no lockring (with brakes) and never had one wind off

Only been riding with a lockring for 6months after kicking off the sprocket a few times down a hill. I have a front brake but prefer not to use it. Oh and they weren't kicked off by skidding - I don't skid. I ride on flats with no straps.
Will have to look harder then, at least I have a few brands to put into google now.
Thanks

No. I ride to Cardiff 3 days a week (minimum) to play polo. That's 17miles each way.
I rode the Exmouth Exodus on the exact same setup and thats 100mi of hilly shit.
Also the 50mile rides we do for fun.If you know how to use things then theres no problems.
Try it someday, if you fall off it's because you're shit.

Put some strap on you numbnit! it's the only way you can able to ride with two brake (front and fixed tranmission), and able to control your bike far better than you'd think.
RPM/MrSmyth is going to have a good chuckle at this soon.

I don't understand why you'd ride without straps on flats, taking the fun out of it for starters.
You inevitably have to use your brake whether you 'like' it or not.
Get some straps, there not just for doing sweet skidz, i guarantee you'll enjoy it once you get used to them.

I prefer not to thanks. It just means thinking ahead a little more. As I say, get the right technique and It can be used efficiently. I do have to use the brake more than those with straps but it's my choice. I prefer not to spent money I don't have on something I don't need
If you install both properly you shouldn't have any issues...
