Guys, who is up for tomorrow morning, London Fields? 9/9.30-11.30ish! I got the loaner and I will bring it with me - in case.

Another question: Who's got black gas pipe (length of about 2 mallet heads or even already cut to length?) and maybe nut&bolt even?
-
• #4231
I will be there till about 10.30, gotta be in office at 11 (again...). Will bring some black pipe for you too Paul.

Ooh, great! Thanks!

Anyone else up for London fields tomorrow? I'm thinking 11/12 though

Kids will usually turn up for basketball at 10.30-ish and we will tell them to wait a bit and give them a court at 11-ish.
Pretty sure there should be games at Downs past noon, just grab an early lunch at Broadway first and drink a cuppa till everyone turns up.
Anyone else up for London fields tomorrow? I'm thinking 11/12 though

Is it worth describing Wednesday west way sessions as beginners? That's what the organisers want?
-
• #4236
I was going to say something about that, the Mods might want to put something in the Wests thread title?
-
• #4237
Might be good to put it in the Beginners thread title instead.
More beginners are at Westway than London Fields has. -
• #4238
It just depends whether you want to have all wests discussion in here too. I have nothing against it personally, I'd very much welcome having beginners all in one thread.
-
• #4239
There might be beginners who check this thread but not the west thread, so it makes sense to have some connection to it while those sessions are on (for seven more weeks) in westway.
-
• #4240
Just to make it clear, the threads should in no way be merged, but maybe some comment about wed at west way in the subject and first post?
-
• #4241
So, what about today?
-
• #4242
Just been called up by my dad to do some work tomorrow so I won't make it to beginners :( Could anyone else take over for this week? It doesn't take much :P If people want to do it at Newt then this would be a great chance...
-
• #4243
I might be able to but won't know till tomorrow. Are most of the recent beginners regular anyway?
-
• #4244
So... Peckham/Newt/Isthisgonnahappentoday? ;)

• #4245
me and alex were looking to go down peckham tonight... if its on? still havent sorted my mallet tho, anyone coming got a spare?
-
• #4246
Still not on polo bike but might be down for some beers for a bit or to offer any help/tips/coaching to beginners.
-
• #4247
I would like to be a world hardcourt polo champion one day. Having said that, I've never played and have only actually seen it once (at the Bike Show), so if someone could point me in the direction of where I should go to get a taste for it I won't forget you when I turn pro. Ideally I'd like to try it somewhere in Norf or Norf-East London; is London Fields one of the places eejit beginners can go to fall off?

all the information you need should be in the OP.
