  • Yemble: temporarily closed i think.

  • Ahem. So. Even though the insurance company are still playing silly buggers, I'm thinking I may be able to pick my bike up next weekend...

Anyone wanna ride on Sunday 28th????????

  • piss and wind. I'm in Leeds/Huddersfield.

  • I currently think I'm free. This is different from actually being free, but is at least a well intentioned start.

  • how much do you want to do? Can't do more than 30 odd miles atm ... too unfit

  • Guys, in case anyone fancies it, road ride out from here on Sun at 10.00. Nothing hard, not more than about 60m max, few undramatic hills up to Box Hill and back. Lovely roads and cakes.

also unfit, what with not having had a road bike for months, and with there having been weather and stuff

30 odd miles sounds like just the kinda run to break in the new steed

  • I have some on the garmin - but also open to suggestions

  • @Everyone

As I already said the SSTC is CLOSED!!!!

and, as it usually happen in every other ride of this forum, you should just respect this and maybe open a new thread with your ideas.

  • Jenny, open a new thread or we use the gapfiller one for further conversation I guess.
Sorry Marco, I thought this was just going down as banter ...

There are MTBers in the Club, but Sun is a road ride for rode bike riders. But you don't have to be local.
