Started a few issues 1s recently: 'Trees', 'MPH' and 'Big Trouble in Little China'
All really good, all very different.
Still carrying on with 'Asylum' but it's not got it's hooks in me. -

MPH is good, going to grab 3 tonight along with trees 3, BTiLT 2 and the newest Walking Dead tp (22 ?)
Fight Club sequel announced, due next year written by Chuck P, published by Dark Horse I think.

Boom! comics seem to be having a Kurt Russell obsession.
Not happy with the Big Trouble in Little China sequel (which is great) they have done a Escape from New York sequel.
Read issues 1&2 and it seems pretty good. -

So, that Batgirl cover...
-
• #134
lots of folks appear to saying the fact that it was pulled is censorship. Being opposed to something isn't censorship, acting on that opposition isn't censorship either, it's bsns.
i'm more concerned with batman's politics.
-

It's a tricky one. The event is a key part of the Batman canon but, given the issues around it and it not being directly portrayed in any current storyline, it would be a poor choice of cover. Its definitely not censorship and it's good so see that positive gender politics is being considered good business.

Anyone interested in some old 2000ad? I was going to eBay them but looks like there isn't really a market

RE batgirl cover: i took it to be a Killing Joke homage.
Spoiler
joker did shoot her and paralyze her, so it stands to reason she would be fearful of him. -

Greenhill, there's nowt wrong with Batman, Detective or Brave and Bold. Try reading the early 60's copies. I've got 1000's of Batman comics but they're getting too costly to buy now. There are 2 good 2nd hand comic book shops, 30th Century Comics and Krypton Komics in London. I have the first issue where Batgirl appears. Beautiful cover.

I really like it. Covers are meant to drag you into the story, this one does.

the Dark Horse movie tie-ins are suprisingly good. Check out the OG 90s Alien v Predator to see what might have been.
