I believe that it has been too.

If it's what / where I think it is, then it it's not down as tagged on the map.
-
• #5954
Its tag 195 on the map I think.
-
• #5955
Yup - it's on the taggy map already
(I wasn't going to give away the no, but I got 195 as well).
-
• #5956
195 on the map I just looked at is Leinster Gardens
-
• #5957
Yes - that's the same place.
-
• #5958
Really? I am properly confused. I will be near the thing that Sansovino has tagged that I am fairly sure is nowhere near Leinster Gardens again tomorrow ...

• #5959
We're talking about Sparky's tags, which he hasn't posted yet, but has put on his twitter feed.
-
• #5960
KT, the new tag is on sparky's twitter link and I can confirm that is has been done before, by moi.
The old tag is still open y'all.

• #5961
Yeah, a bunch of us went there on the bike ride of ride a while back.
-
• #5962
Just got home. Bugger.
-
• #5963
Oh dear - I thought I was going mad but I was, in fact, just being very annoying and slow.
-
• #5964
I was actually going to get another on the way home, just in case, but I didn't stumble across anything interesting enough. Still, it got me out on the bike: http://app.strava.com/rides/3846087

I've finally got my act together and put together a possible underground London ride for 18 March:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread79553.html#post2673571(I say put together, I mean I got Oat44 to tell me lots of places and I drew a slightly wiggly line between them)
So, what's the deal with the current tag then? Sparky, are you going to redeem yourself with a new tag, or are we free to go and tag the, um, clearly labelled kiln?
-
• #5967
I've left the goal wide open there, haven't I? Go for it.
I might grab another spot on the way to work tomorrow. But if someone slips in before me, no bother: all's fair in love, war and bicycle tag.

Can't believe I set out to get this with a new linked tag in mind only to find that my new tag is currently fenced off in the middle of a massive building site. I remembered somewhere else that could have worked, rode over and decided against it. Had a meander around the South Bank area and eventually threw the towel in. On the plus side I was half way home when I got a call from my daughter to say she was locked out so she only had to wait 30 minutes and not and hour +.
Also on the bright side I'm 34 miles to the good today. Dartford to old tag. What was I thinking???? -
• #5969
OK, so not the hardest tag I've ever had to find (thanks Sparky!) but hopefully this moves things on a little ...
Old tag, Fulham pottery kiln, New Kings Road
New tag ... foxes! And cherries! And more foxes! (Tell me this isn't an electrifying tag)
-
• #5970
licence fee for the cherry picker which was £178.
wtf -
• #5971
If that's where I think it is, I had no idea there was anything on the roof. What on earth possessed someone to do that?
-
• #5972
licence fee for the cherry picker which was £178.
wtfHad no clue what you were going on about till I Googled it as well.

Old tag: foxes and cherries community sponsored scuplture in brixton
New tag: built in 1776, it reflects the "calm spirit of those rational and enlightened times", something about which Timothy Sutton of Lambeth could learn a thing or two...

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/cost_of_foxes_and_cherries_sculpIndeed. I've got quite a soft spot for it - I like the idea of something which is playful, and makes you raise your sights above street level.
Incidentally, I think I spotted you (well the bike) on your way to tag this, heading down the side of the Bon Marche centre. (That sounds like I was lying in wait for people to get this. I wasn't. )

New tag and clue are very easy and googlable
How about drip feeding hints for added challenge
Think the new one might have been done already.
