That's excellent news, Ed. But being agency staff, I bet he's just gonna carry on be a c**t on the road.
but if the agency gets another report about this guy they'll drop him as big customers might well stop using them if they supply asshole drivers

In relation to the recent incident, I have a very good respond from the company;
Excellent, well done Ed. It's always worth letting the company know.

Hi, long time reader first time etc etc
On way home tonight up Blackhorse lane, Walthamstow (not exactly cycling hotspot) got completely cut up by a large white van chucking a left down Hookers Rd (defo didn't indicate) and wheel actually went under the van, had to whack on the side to stop myself from going under it. Followed him down the industrial estate, he definitely would've done one had it not been a dead end, parked up and spoke to him with adrenaline pumping and few heated words were given from my end, however I calmed down enough and checked bike (amazingly nothing wrong - although on close expection at home a slight buckle in the rear wheel for some reason), he apologised (although only after my aggressive insistence on what he did wrong).
Anyway, as I was leaving a couple of dibble were walking down, i thought "fuck it" (had got £30 fine day before so wanteed to know what that particular tax was going on) so I told them what happened and that the bloke was wankered, they went and checked out all the reg/breathalised him etc and all checked out (unfortunately). Her indoors is saying I shoulda got reg plates etc etc, but there's nothing extra that could've been done really, is there?
Cheers for any answers :)

If I want to report a dangerous driver but I'm one number out on the reg plate is there anywhere I can look it up before I take this further?
-
• #983
Do you happen to know the colour/make etc. of the vehicle too?
-
• #984
large white HGV with a fucking cunt in the drivers seat!
-
• #985
That'll do!

• #986
Sorry, just angers me when he nearly runs me over then proceeds to speed down a road full of cyclists, and got closer than half a metre to one, then starts yelling at me that cyclists don't own the road! I pointed out that neither did he - his lack of intelligence just kept him repeating the same sentence over and over - I want him to be sacked - alot

So you should, find out what company it belong to as well and write an polite but firm email to the said company.
Any luck on the AskMID?

no the reg is E159 0EP form what i can remember but I think either the 1 or the 0 is wrong as it's not coming up anywhere
-
• #989
yes I saw that but when I type it into an insurance website it says it isn't a proper reg number, are reg numbers different for hgvs?
-
• #991
EI code is reg in chelmsford

A white HGV with a cunt in the drivers seat? I didn't realise there was any other kind of HGV driver.
-
• #993
Hey lady. Do you deliberately nudge other motorvehicles who don't move fast enough for you or just cyclists? Fucking nutter. Did not report. Should have in retrospect.
-
• #994
If that's the case then it can't be 0EP at the end as the 0 has to be a zero right?
-
• #995
yes, it was an 'oh' not zero
-
• #996
vehicle appears to be uninsured and fairly local too, report if you can.
Ei 59 O(oh)EP is correct format

Probably black VAUXHALL ANTARA SE CDTI, registration DL08 BYR, this evening in Vauxhal/Brixton.
You are a cunt, and I hope the next time you chop across lanes without indicating that the other vehicle does not spot what you are doing, and you write your piece of shit Vauxhall off.
Cunt.

Yesterday while heading in to town along the A4 some prat in a white people carrier started honking and shouting at me from behind. As far as I could tell I wasn't doing anything wrong. Perhaps he just didn't like my not-in-the-gutter road position. At first I ignored him but when the abuse went, on even as he sped past me and across another lane of traffic, I caught up with him at the next lights and asked him what the f*ck his problem was. His reply in broken English:
"What the hell you think you doing? You shouldn't be cycling. It very dangerous. You should be in a car. There are crazy f*cking drivers our there etc etc". And with that he revved, tore off nearly mowing me down and away before I had a chance to pull my phone out.
Can't believe this d*ckwad actually has a license to drive. I rarely get angry on the roads but my blood was boiling.
One of those occasions I wished DJ was there.

"Crazy fucking drivers out there"
Yes, he was one of them. I can't wait until they increase the difficulty of a driving test and put a cap on the amount of attempts you're allowed.
That's excellent news, Ed. But being agency staff, I bet he's just gonna carry on be a c**t on the road.
