I like how that article made it sound like they're upset they can't yell at them anymore.
Oh man, look at the comments. Looks like LA is full of both superangrycunt motorists AND the very worst kind of nodder. Thank god I live in a civilised city instead.

2 things happened today, both of which were weird...
An extremely indecisive driver: I was cycling in the cycle lane behind this black car and the driver indicated to turn left, so I slowed down to let him turn, then he changed his indicator light to turn right, so I thought OK, I shall go... as I was right next to his car, he changed his mind and to indicate to turn left and was actually turning at the same time, so I made an emergency stop (tonight wasn't the night I quite wanted to commit suicide just yet), then he changed his mind again...
Due to some gas work in Camberwell going up to Denmake Hill, there is this 3 ways traffic control. I was coming from Coldharbour Lane onto Camberwell. For some reasons there was 3 police officers controlling the traffic as well as the light, weird. Anyway, it was red light for us but the police officer kept telling me to go when there were loads of incoming traffic, I refused and he looked very surprised... has the laws been changed and nobody told me?

Apparently Chief Inspector Ian Vincent of the cycle Safety Squad is keen to hear reports about aggressive drivers. These can be sent via this website:

Just had a call back from the met over an incident that happened on brookmill street this morning.
I overtook a slower cyclist, shoulder checked and all was well, pulled out and overtook but as i went to pull back in a Silver MB was on my back wheel, proceeded to beep his horn, I told him to "fuck off", he tried to run me into the curb.
The fellow that i overtook gave me his details and offered to act as a witness should anything come of it.
First time in 3 years that I have been threatened by a car on the road, plenty of verbals in that time but this was a first.

Called the police last week after a bus driver pulled out in front of me and then giot abusive and then got ridiulously aggressive when I challenged him. Police told me that it wasn't their remit and I should be speaking to TFL... Waste of fucking time picking the phone up.

I logged an incident a few weeks ago with roadsafelondon and they visited the guy and sent a warning letter.
It's good to hear they take the complaints seriously and actually do something about it. -

Credit to CYC couriers this morning:
I was in the middle of an aggressive altercation between a cyclist and a van driver at the junction of Old St/Central St this morning. Thankfully it was no more than words.
I called this afternoon to discuss it and CYC have sent the driver home after the other cyclist complained this morning

The kind of things we all experience but for once I managed to remember the number plate. So here we go, the driver of BMW HY59 HLH you are reported to RoadSafe. At least 8 cyclists could fit in the space that your monster car occupies. You and your passenger are the ones who take up space on London Roads so please be kind and stop bullying cyclists.
8-12 cyclist were waiting to turn right into Grosvenor Road from the lights on Queenstown Road (just off Chelsea Bridge). The driver was also waiting to turn right, behind a group of 4 cyclists. When the traffic cleared, the driver hooted impatiently then proceeded to speed dangerously close to the cyclists as he turned into Grosvenor Road. The driver then proceeded up Grosvenor Road towards the next junction with Lupus Street. Unfortunately the layout of the CS8 requires caution from motor vehicle drivers, as there is very little space for the driver to cross the CS8 and turn left. The driver showed no caution at all when overtaking a cyclist approaching the junction, dangerously cutting him up whilst turning left. In my opinion these two incidents constitute impatient and intimidating driving behaviour.

This made it to the SE LOndon News last night - they included the footage and the "geezer" in question is getting done for a public order offence..... not common assault?!

I see that "cyclists going through red lights" made it into the comments on that YouTube vid, for no apparent reason.
Whats the chap talking about- ped killed by cyclist in Camden? I presume he is just making this up?

I've heard of peds killed by cyclists but can't find anything on google to that exact story.
Interesting the state is considering making it a violation for driving within 3 feet of a cyclist.
