2) park in the designated loading area 20 metres down the road
3) don't park in the ASL

Both parties are in the wrong here IMO, the driver in the first instance, and then the overly aggressive response from the cyclist.

Can't quite hear if he says 'You ran over my foot mate' or 'you nearly ran over my foot mate'.

Either way, the driver's an unmitigated prick. The cyclist didn't need to have told the bloke he was in a 'cycle area' though. The driver knew what he was doing, he'd stopped outside it before the cyclist pulled in front of him. I think I would've just passive aggressively sat in front of him at the next set of lights, and the set after that and so on until we parted ways.

Also, I admire the self control of the cyclist walking away after getting punched.
