Just being Devils advocate here: What are the alternatives to deliver booze to the venue?
-
• #4310
not really my problem, but since you asked:
1) deliver during signposted times
2) park in the designated loading area 20 metres down the road
3) don't park in the ASL -
• #4311
Fair enough.

keep your eyes out for this beige slacks wearing, tragic waste of skin and organs.
Aggressive Driver Assaults Cyclist in Farringdon - KW13 CWA - YouTube
fucking needle dicked cockend.
-
• #4313
Both parties are in the wrong here IMO, the driver in the first instance, and then the overly aggressive response from the cyclist.
-
• #4314
no.
only one party got out of their vehicle and physically assaulted the other.
-
• #4315
I'm not saying the driver was justified for assaulting him, but if you go around chasing down drivers and shouting "fucking prick" at them for something as minor as ASL infringement, bad shit is going to happen to you some day. He should have just chilled the fuck out and reported him when he got home/to his desk.
-
• #4316
even if it reeks of wimpness, a loud yet woody allen-ish "HEY HEY HEYYYYY!" directed towards asl creep/lane drift/non-indicating shit keeps your moral high-ground intact.
-
• #4317
yeah, no.
if you can't contain yourself enough to not get out of your car and get all shouty fists because someone called you a naughty name, you shouldn't be in charge of a speeding ton of metal.
false equivalence is false.
hope he gets booked.

Aggressive person assaults aggressive person. Both come off looking like knobs.

Except one was in possesion of a lethal weapon...

I think he was a little bit pissed off because he ran over his foot - but I may be wrong
-
• #4321
Pity the police couldn't find the bloke whom assault me, I'm seriously considering a camera on a bicycle as an insurance policy.

Was.... until he stepped out of it and then clobbered the other angry guy. Both of them have lessons to learn in social grace.
-
• #4323
Yeah, you can quite clearly hear him shout 'Fucking prick, you ran over my foot mate'
So, you know...'social graces'? Fuck that. No wonder he was pissed off.
Got a good turn of pace on him as well.
-
• #4324
Ah, didn't catch the bit about the foot
-
• #4325
Can't quite hear if he says 'You ran over my foot mate' or 'you nearly ran over my foot mate'.
Either way, the driver's an unmitigated prick. The cyclist didn't need to have told the bloke he was in a 'cycle area' though. The driver knew what he was doing, he'd stopped outside it before the cyclist pulled in front of him. I think I would've just passive aggressively sat in front of him at the next set of lights, and the set after that and so on until we parted ways.
Also, I admire the self control of the cyclist walking away after getting punched.
Ah so it is, wasn't when using a mobile browser thought.
Bizarre, very GTA.
