i was reading the bikeradar thread and like VB the second post was a comment about the stasi
econodog, that is really interesting re the quick response
hael has ordered those cheap video cameras and I am going to put in an order too, i think being able to tell the old bill that you have video footage of the bad driving will be really useful

• #103
yeah they called me after about 30 minutes of filling the online form, was surprised
would you mount the camera to your bars? Might catch yourself jumping 6 red lights on film too :)

if this website work on my mobile, then it'll be a slight advantage to me as there's no way I can call 999.
Frankly, I rather them to develop a text message reporting for the like of me than those stupid online report.
Ed, it mentions on the roadsafe website about dialling 999 or
"**People with hearing difficulties should dial 18000 in an emergency."Have you ever tried this?

• #105
it still won't work, I just can't use the telephone, period.
-
• #106
ah, fair enough.

ha, loving the bold type. reminds me of the Derek and Clive bit..
"Next there will be a programme on false teeth for the blind, delivered by the deaf, and for those of you who are hard of hearing ..... LISTEN!!!"

• #108
what happens, does it automatically put your phone on speaker?
-
• #109
probably just put you through to a posh person instead.
-
• #110
"Hello, is that Theodore Squabble esquire?"
-
• #111
haha it actually just pasted in bold as I copied it direct from the website, then spent 10 minutes trying to unbold it, then just thought fuck it, Ed will know what I mean
It is a bit Derek and Clive though :-)

How do you know if it's a posh person? do they rub plum juice on the braille?

yesterday had a driver undertake me dangerously, when i caught up to have a word he deliberately swerved at me
idio was in a company car and I got his rego and the company details, i then called the company who promised to get back to me. later as they had not got back to me i reported it via roadsafe and then called the company.
they told me they were still waiting for the drivers return as they have video cameras in their cars, i instructed them to save the video footage.
below is the email thread between me and the police (including the report i lodged online)
I told them that I had reported the incident to the police and that if the footage disappeared it would be evidence tampering.

I reported a bus driver a few weeks ago on the TFL web site and thought nothing of it and carried on thinking it would be filed away and forgotten. earlier this week I had a phone call from TFL saying that they were sorry to have taken so long to get back to me and that they know who was driving the bus and he was going to be disaplined accordingly. I was amazed that they had got back to me, so if you do have a complication with anything on the road it really is worth reporting it.

er, there are other legal avenues that can be used, e.g. noise act 1996.
