Probably head out into Surrey from Crystal Palace around 9. I say 50 miles but 30/40 is probably more realistic looking at the time and the fact I'm in the pub.

Are there any other (roadie) forums I can find weekend rides at short notice?

Christ alive, this morning's weather is a bit shit.

There I was, carbed up and ready to loop around my old man's house in Sussex. Now what am I s'posed to do? So far I've written this:-

I wanted to go cycle-ing,
but cannot coz it's ray-en-ing.
Riding when it's watery,
makes me fucking ang-er-y.

Fingers crossed it will do as the Beeb suggests and clear up to allow a local mooch later today, hopefully followed by a delayed paternal loop tomorrow.
