Sort of. Discovered a set-up that would give me the trail desired. Finding this set-up on a manufactured fork may be difficult (although Cohen, who is also trying to achieve the same thing with the same frame seems to have found a couple of things - one being very cheap custom forks).

(This wheel will be for that bike. As is the 48 hole hub. I'm hoping this thing will be strong, sturdy, stable, and fun as hell).

Is there no standard disc mounting position? I'll check Hope's web page and see if they've got dimensions.

Cant talk for its use as a rear, but its a bloody well made hub. I assume the center to disc-mount-edge is standard for their front hubs. I'm just not sure they'd list it.

Just a thought, but the front hubs run on 2 sets of cartridge bearings, whereas the rear (at least the SS/trials I have) run on 5 sets. So a front hub may not be as sturdy as a rear.

Its been really tricky fitting myself onto a 29er, and the bike to the local trails. But it looks to be just right.

Just wish I could have ordered in the front brake and ceramic BB while wiggle had their specials on.

This is the kind of thing more people need to be doing, but I would advise against cycling too fast around bends in underpasses, or the photoframe may get smashed up irreparably, and I'm not sure the nation, in its current economic state, could cope with a month of compulsory mourning.
