  • Why that? If you want it to feel more nimble, fit a road fork on.

its more because of the conversion with track ends look it has, rather it were more like a track frame with large clearances, well i know it is already, but the look of the front end tighter i mean.

    being picky.

  • A few changes to mine, it's nearly there. A respray is on the cards, and I'll take advantage of having it stripped down to install a new headset. Biggest change so far is the wheelset which I bought from Big H on here, with 32c Paselas which are lovely for 'rolling around town.

Aside the stem, I really really really like this.

  • Here's mine. Tyres and saddle might change, time will tell.

  • Yes, standard road brake reach should be fine, I'm using BRS-1 which have a 47mm reach, work perfectly.

yerp, it works. Bottom of the slot and top of the brake track but it's just about safe. Thanks.

  • Aside the stem, I really really really like this.

    Y U no like stem?

  • Last week I swapped over all the parts from my Lemond Filmore to my nearly-new Steamroller frame (bought off here). I'm in love.

  • Y U no like stem?
I have no idea why I wrote that. I meant to say bars, I don't like risers much tbh.

  • In 2+ years my Roller has turned from this

    to this

and resulting with this kind of a setup

I have to say the On-One Fleegle Pro bars are the best and finding Specialized Toupe and Phenom working for me perfectly was an end of a long testing process.

  • That looks like Finland !!

Sexy bike, will have to find one for my self soon :)

  • Probably going to buy a steamroller next month, build it much nicer than my last one, don't think i really appreciated its full potential the first time, exited!

I have been very tempted by the new red Pacer, but with those weird wobbly levers and dangly things it would end up costing a lot more for a full and finished build

  • What size you after a&p? Have a black 53cm I'm considering flogging, if you're interested.

  • I need a 53! :) so yes i am.

  • Cool, I seem to be a moron at posting picks on here, so pm me your email and I'll send you some pics. Can sell as full bike or f/f.

  • Would only want the F+F and headset if its decent.

    pm on the way

  • Cool, headset is fsa. Just gonna have me tea, so will email this evenin.

  • Alright, not fussed on the colour or condition of the paint, as i will repainting it my self anyway.

  • the roller has seen 200km this week and I think it's as dialled in as it can be.

no brakes can't stop don't want to etc.. would love some carbon on the cockpit though.

  • ^ My favourite steamroller around

Did some steamroller touring too during the easter weekend. Around 300k over the weekend with this setup.

    Worked out fine.

  • What set up you got going on the front there Motorcity?

  • The rack is a Soma Porteur and the panniers are Carradice super C front panniers. This rack is great on the steamroller since it mounts to the axle and the fork crown through the break hole without the need for any other fittings.

  • anyone selling 53 f+f? I need one to Finland. preferably black

  • Just missed out ^ :P

Brought this from jontea, now we wait for payday.

  • I want !!

  • Finally, after many months my Steamroller is finished... I was going for an understated look.

  • loving the paintjob

surly you could source the dt decal in black?
