  • Congratulations sir! You kept that one quiet!

  • Well done man. The bike looks interesting also, however a Panasonic would be super sweet.

  • Cheers for the congratulations all. We're dead chuffed about it.

Picking up the Leader tomorrow. Well impressed with Specialised's service - got a call this afternoon to say the bike was built a day earlier than scheduled, and I think £36 for assembly, replacing 2 spokes in the back wheel, new brake cable and pads is a flipping bargain.

  • That is good work. I like building new bikes though. Replacing spokes can go to hell.

  • That is good I love building bikes with a can of beer not quite so keen on indexing gears on a triple and truing wheels can >>>>>

  • All bike builds need timelapse. This is the way of things.

  • Ha ha brilliant! Never made one with my vn

  • All bike builds with me involve booze and debauchery

    My new build.
    Leader 725
    Halo Aerotrack
    Conti gatorskins
    Sugino BB
    Sugino crankset
    Deda seat post and stem
Cinelli pepper bars and Oury grips
    Charge spoon saddle

My mum would go mental if she new the bike was on her bed

  • Post a picture. Cant view FB at work!

  • Bit dark, could be anything!

  • I know, I'll get a better photo today...hopefully once I've got the cog and chain on.

  • Got the Bowery out for a scrub so I thought I'd make a quick update.

Since the last post she's got a shiny new thompson x2, eclat pedals with some Hold Fast, chain, chainring and fixed cog. Up next are some bullhorns, new lever, tyres and possibly a new saddle. You had a Fizik on your plug didn't you Mark? what was it, That was super comfy.

  • I think Mark had an Arione, if so they're fantastic saddled, only thing I preferred to the Spoon. Can't believe you haven't ruined those tyres yet, they're awful for skidding, clearly not riding enough ;)

  • Looking at pics now it does look familiar, might have to nab one. Enough? Try not at all! Very ashamed to say I've barely ridden at all in the past year, could count it on one hand hangs head any suggestions for tyres?

  • Nice

  • Love it

  • Thanks you guys... Still got a load of work to do to it...

  • Chainless is the new brakeless.
Looks like a beast, colour coordinated spokes too, nice!

  • That's the Malum right? How is it??
