quick shout out for the Proper Food Cafe in Dalston/Haggerston. had the fry-up in there on sat and was delicious. as good if not better than the one at Black Cat, that i also rate highly.

not so keen on the Italian bus on hackney road. might of just been an off night but food was average and the beer too pricy to bother with.

I am v.excited, will not wait until xmas.

I was at the Proper Food Cafe in Haggerston last Sunday and had the fry-up. So good! I'm going back for the pancakes this weekend :)

Oh, and 'Fed by Water' opposite Dalston Kingsland Station went vegan last Saturday.

That reminds me, a friend was telling me that Pamela on Kingsland road does a killer vegan gumbo, among other things! I haven't been yet though.

went to cafe andu on sunday, was nice, not amazing. somewhere to go for snack rather than a full meal i think.
