We had a bake sale at our workplace today so I made a vegan/gluten free cake. I adapted the cherry bakewell cupcake recipe from Ms Cupcake's cookbook. Was meant to be three layers but I ran out of sugar but two were plenty enough!

I must remember to visit that place when I'm in the area. Not sure I'd be up for a nosh-up type of visit--it looks more like a snacky place than a full-blown restaurant?

Loads of reviews on-line.

Several dishes seem to be vegan.

Likewise not the full restaurant experience, but as it's close to home I'll make sure to pay it a visit soon.

Here's the menu for Tatreez. I was there last night to get a drunken take away. The lady said that basically everything is vegan unless it features cheese (obvs). The zaatar was well tasty. All of it was good actually.
