  • [I admit it. Just trying to get to a new page in this thread so I don't have itsbruce telling me I'm a heartless woman over and over again up there ^.]

  • Holistic Holiday at Sea vegan cruise anyone? Rich Roll will be there ;) http://www.atasteofhealth.org/?gclid=COnct6bt1boCFUkV7AodFi4AgA

if i had loads of money i'd probably do this, it looks ridiculous.

(also secretly disappointed that the richroll website wasn't a rickroll)

what kind of time do people want to get tatreez on wednesday?

  • 6 or 7?

  • Out for Wednesday, I'm afraid. Lost track of all my commitments this month.

  • 7 better for me.

  • Anyone here been to Ethiopia? If so, how easy / tricky / impossible to get fed?

  • Not hard at all. Injera don't have dairy in them (and teff is very nutritious) and they have a wide range of spicy vegetarian dishes, most of which are vegan and the others are usually also available as vegan variants. They do a lot of religious fasting there, so the non-meat cuisine is extensive :)

  • Excellent - will report back in a few weeks, hopefully fatter than now.

  • 7 better for me.

    Shall we say 7, then?

Is that good for you, too, Lucy?

  • This sounds good, provisionally in for Tatreez

  • I broke another list didn't I.. oops.

  • i'm going to have to cancel as well due to illness unfortunately. i'd really like to do this soon/again though. sorry for short notice :(

  • I've got a mate coming. Ah, the ebb and flow of the list!

  • all I've eaten for the past few days is chickpeas and aubergines pretty much. I think I could live happily, solely on aubergine.

Yep. Great Nigel Slater recipe for roasted aubergine hummous. Is ace would nom etc

  • And remember that a bottle cage is an ideal aubergine holder. You need never be without!

  • Fellow Tatreez-goers, here's the Japanese cookbook I was talking about:

    http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/304509.Japanese_Cooking_Contemporary_Traditional

I've had a lot of fun cooking from it.

  • Tatreez, by the way, was excellent, particularly the Freekeh, and we'll have to go again.

  • Nice one.
    Next time I'll get freekeh!

    Sorry, I'll get my coat.

  • Haha, last night was so tasty I can't stop thinking about it, I'd happily eat it all again today!

  • I will be in Paris this weekend. Can anyone offer any first hand recommendations of nice places to get some grub over there?
