lol i use the 'after you' gesture plenty of times, it usually confuses the drivers, i now only use it to confuse drivers :D

A fella parked his cab on the pavement/cyclelane and opened his door. I kinda knew he would so avoided him. He said "I did see you" meaning either he opened his door in a more considerable manner, or that he just meant to kill me. He got a thumb for each possibility.
